Increases the amount you invest with Unlce Roe in order to upgrade the Merchant Caravans of Crow, Doc Hoff, Crazy Wolfgang and Lucky Harith.

This is a simple little mod I made and use that increases the number of caps the player invests with Uncle Roe in order to upgrade each level of the merchant caravans. There are three different files, choose just one, which increase the amount invested by either 2x, 3x or 4x. If you have the Master Trader perk you still receive the investment reductions it provides.

It is extremely easy to collect and abundance of caps in FO3. I always end up with a huge amount of caps and no way to spend them. I collect so many that caps play absolutely no part in how I play the game, because I know after a short while I will be able to afford anything and everything I could possibly need. In my game I have made a number of different game tweaks to increase the cost of just about everything and decrease the number of caps I can obtain, this mod is one of them and helps to delay that inevitable conclusion for awhile.

If you like this mod and would like other mods that increase costs or reduce the number of caps you receive let me know and I will consider releasing some similar mods I have made.

Install:

1. Download the CC_Merchant_Investment_Redux archive to a secure location.

2. Extract the files from the archive. It contains three files:
CCMerchant_2xInvestment.esp doubles the investment needed.
CCMerchant_3xInvestment.esp triples the investment needed.
CCMerchant_4xInvestment.esp quadruples the investment needed.
Select and use only 1 of the files.

3. Copy the file to your "[DRIVE]:[INSTALL PATH]\Fallout 3\Data\" folder.

4. Open your Fallout 3 Launcher (or mod manager - i.e. FOMM), place a checkmark beside the.esp file you installed and run the game.

6. Enjoy paying more to improve your merchant caravans!

Un-Install:

1. Open your Fallout 3 Launcher (or mod manager), and uncheck the CCMerchant_XxInvestment.esp file.

2. Delete the CCMerchant_XxInvestment.esp file.

I am not aware of any other mod that modifies the cost of caravan investment. Because this targets a very small and specific part of Uncle Roes dialog and scripts, there should be no conflicts.
