This is implemented in FO4 which is part of my interest (See Total Hack: Turrets) when hacking a turret in FO 3 the option of disable or chaos targeting viz clear targeting parameters was there but, setting yourself to administrator - nope. This would seem to solve that problem, never use chaos targeting in any Fallout game just a bad move.
Sadly, I have the identical problem to GSV. Every single turret simply becomes non-hostile to everything. I've tested both Hacking and Reprogramming. I've been through them both with FO3Edit. And they each seem to have a problem with Wrye, which is that several of the terminals are having "unused" references in the conditions section of the menu items being overwritten with different dissimilar references. However, these are not causing the problem. I have manually set my bashed patch to use the correct references, and the turrets still do not reprogram.
This is sad, because I recall that this mod used to work. While I suppose that it might be possible that another mod is indirectly affecting these mods, I don't think that it's the case. And I just don't have the time to check.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to de-endorse this mod until the issue is corrected. It's a shame. This was really one of my favorites. Such a wonderful idea.
Hi there! Great mod, but for me works partially, for some reason. Every turret that I've hacked becomes friendly, but doesn't attack previous owners or any other hostile. So far I've tested it on 10 (or so) turrets and it happened with every single one. So... what did i do wrong?
Er, there's no way that's related to this mod. I don't touch the turrets, just the terminals. Sorry. I... have never heard of that problem before, unless it's related to the amazing flying deathclaws. You might want to try shutting them down and starting them back up again.
Umm, hi. the mod works fine on my computer. but the annoying thing is (ive only hacked one turret so far, and its the one in the museum of history lower levels). it works for me sure. but the gravity dont like the turret, so it makes an annoying slamming noice all the time. can you look into this plz. I like hacking but the slammering destroys the feeling.
I am going through all the old bug reports right now.
Maniac3020: That uses the Daisy Chain Turret script. I just checked it... no reason it shouldn't work fine. You may have had the older version that had the broken script.
phoenixfang: Same deal... Daisy chained, should really work. Older version did have a broken script.
Sptrtan 117: It's... not quite that simple. You have to shut it down and stop combat and all kinds of things to make them friendly.
Everyone else: I am in the process of updating this to work with all mods, so those problems should be fixed shortly. Thank you for pointing out specific instances that may use custom terminals!
ETA: THANK GOD THAT'S DONE. ahem. Sorry, it's... a really tedious edit! I can only pray it works right. Please tell me if you find any anomalies. And read the readme installation bit, please! I had to complicate matters because of the DLCs.

I will link it as an alternative, though!
