For some reason I can't get the custom sound for the gun to work, it just keeps using the normal .44 magnum sound. What must I do to correct this? I have already tried deleting the mod and reinstalling using NMM, and manually as well, tried moving the folder with the sounds around in the sound folder, but no dice. HEEEEELP!!!
This is by far the BEST Blackhawk I've ever seen. It truly looks great. Any chance that you'll make a WMK compatibility patch though? I'm in the awkward position of wanting this look but unwilling to give up my neato laser sight...
I had not planned on supporting WMK as it is not something I use (if I want extra stuff on my guns I just add it myself). But I would not mind if someone else does. If I have some time soon I will look into it.
First, I like the look. It is non typical and goes together well. Nice. Next, I have to echo what others are saying, man, I hope you release that really good looking armor. Man that is nice and hey, it matches the 44 !! Anyhows, Good looking 44 and thanks for the mod.
OK guys, I believe I have solved the installation problems. This was my first mod so it wasn't set up very well. This will also no longer replace any vanilla files. If you have already installed an older version I recommend uninstalling it completely before installing the latest file. Let me know if you are still having problems.
Plz help me man i put in the mod normal and it dosent work i dont know what the problom in i even tryed spawning in a new black hawk to see if that was it but it isnt i put the esp file thingy into the data and launched fa3 and then checked it and played
sorry but i must say more i know that the mod works if i take the file out it says when i play the game relies on content that no longer there and i only removed that one file
AchiveInvalidation applied ? if so next step is FOMM for modding. NMM will not deal with some of these older mods or FOMM. You have to learn to manually extract and put everything in the right place.
You cannot use fallout launcher for modding.
Test the download you have mine was bad on a old one I got along time ago. use 7zip (do not have it?) Install it.
Folder structure is wrong inside the archive, so it will need unpacking to folder and manual install, till you learn fomm. FOMM would be "from folder" option, in this case using the premade new unique blackhawk folder as root...
Time to hit the books, and learn, or ask in the regular help forums, there is a topic on FOMM and Mods just search. I told you what to do, if you cannot follow, then you must learn on your own
Not sure what to tell ya guys, I tried reinstalling it myself and I even have it competing against one of my other blackhawk replacers and it worked fine at the bottom of the load order. The only thing I can think of is the installation didn't work properly? Are you installing using a manager or manually?
the esp didn't work for me either, even last in the load order and with no other weapon mods active. it seems to be a strange problem with fallout 3 geck (never had it with oblivion or skyrim). if anyone knows what that problem is and how to fix it, please post here
if you want the gun to look like this, just rename the mesh/nif file to "44magnumrevolver" and only install the mesh and texture folders. all the magnums ingame will now look like this and you wont get any improved stats but the model is beautiful so its worth it imo
Hi Thunder, sorry I hadn't noticed the new comment till now. You have to complete the quest known as "Agathas' Song". You will find her in a somewhat hidden shack not too far from the scrapyard.
""BTW, if anyone knows how to keep the speed loader invisible before your first reload, I would like to hear about it.""
Baels revolvers do that also, I been thinking to look at Mysterious Stranger nif as it does not do that/ Just a starting point. Blackhawk vanilla does not do that either must be the reload anim ?
