It breaks immersion and is rather annoying when items/money you just gave to NPC's dissapear on their death as if by magic. Maybe there are other NPC/item/money possessions that can be re-instated after death? I remember fallout 2 had the same annoying tendency, but that's an old game so they have an excuse. Well Spotted.
