So, this is a variation on a very simple mod that i have been using for a few years, and i thought i would share it with the fine people of the Nexus. Better late than never... All this mod does is change the gifts that you get from Bittercup. Oh, and i added in a note that she gives you the first time you get a gift from her. It was already in the GECK, but unused for some reason. Its cute, not gloomy at all ;) Bittercup is a great character, and i thought her gifts should be also. i always enjoy stopping by Big Town to visit my favorite spooky girl, and not just because of her sweet presents.
Ther are a few different versions to choose from, mostly differing in the type of ammo you can recieve from Bittecup.
Should be compatible with everything, unless there is another mod that does the same thing. I've used it with Satanslilhelper's Gothic Girls mod http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14081 and had no trouble. And with Project Beauty.
Just drop the bittercup_6.esp file into your Fallout 3\Data folder and enable it with your mod manager of choice. For the savvy Wrye users i have included BASH tags in the mod's description to import into your bashed patch ;) {{BASH:Delev,Relev,ScriptContents}}
Also, if you use one of the compatibility patches with a Bittercup companion mod, make sure your load order looks like this:
bittercup_comp.esp
bittercup_6.esp
Or, use the BOSS! And let it own your load order!
/*------------------------------------1010011010
Here is a table of the gifts you can recieve from Bittercup.
level is your characters current level and the quantity is 1 unless specified.
You only recieve ONE of the choices per level range.
Example: your current level is 7. You will get either 3 packs of smokes, 2 conductors or 3 chems. You will never get an item from a lower level tier.
-=Pew-Pew=-
Sorry, i didn't make a table this time, see the images for this mod at the Nexus. Its only Small Energy Cells and Micro Fusion Cells until you hit level 32, and then some Electron Charge Packs and Alien Power Cells jump in to the mix. Oh, and until you hit level 6 you will only get 6 Small Energy Cells.

Random Chem can be Jet, Buffout, Psycho, Mentats or Med-X.
Random Power Cells are ammo for energy weapons, and the random amount increases for each tier. It uses the Leveled Item VendorAmmoPowerCells100 at a quantity of 1 for level 13 - 15, and the quantity increases by 1 each tier.
Random Bullets are exactly what they sound like. It uses the Leveled Item VendorAmmoBullets100 at a quantity of 1 for level 9 - 12, and the quantity increases by 1 each tier.
xCALIBR Favorite is a Leveled Item that is included with xCALIBR. i believe the full name is xCALIBRVendorFavorite100. Check the images for a list of all the possible ammo. i use a quantity of 1 for level 6 - 12, and the quantity increases by 1 each tier.
Also, when she gives you multiple items the message pop-up only says the first one in the list, but check your inventory and you will see all the items. Example: when you get the parts for 3 Nuka Grenades it just says 3 Nuka-Cola-Quantums, but you will also get the abraxo the turpentine and the tin cans. Same with the ammo and the random chems.
The last tier is the only one that really matters, eventually, so it has the most variety. i tried not to make it too unbalancing, but you might think i'm a dirty cheater. In my defense, i use numerous mods to make the wasteland an even harsher place. Becuse let's face it, Bethesda makes console games for kids. Modders make their games a worthy experience.
A lot of the cheat factor depends on your timescale also... i used a timescale of 1 - 4 in my last game (1 in combat and indoors, 4 otherwise), and i had many long sessions where it was the same day the whole time i played. For me a long session is more than 6 hours =P Also i disabled fast-travel, so i wouldn't see Bittercup every day either. Now, if you use the default timescale of 30, where 1 day of game time passes in less than an hour of real-world time and fast-travel everywhere (like Bethesda intended), i would probably consider using this mod cheating.
meh.

Thanks to torrello for the xCALIBR idea.
If you enjoy any mods that you use, you should go back to the Nexus and endorse them. It will help encourage the mod's authors and motivate them to release future projects or other stuff they have lying around ;)
Peace and Love!
