I just noticed that there is no fallout3prefs ini in the ini tab. Is there a reason? Also downloading using the MO browser is not working for me, neither is auto sign-in. Thanks
@kissbaby: Mod Organizer is a standalone tool, not a plugin. It also works very different from NMM so they can't really be combined, at least I don't see how.
cool but this should be part of nexus mod manger? if i'm wrong correct me . it would be nice to have this as nexus mod manager + the download future used curently
@thommaal: fo3edit should work fine. You CAN get wrye flash to run if you're willing to jump through some hoops: First, you need to be using a 32bit version of python. Then you must create a .bat file containing something like this: "c:\python27\python.exe "c:\Program Files\Fallout 3\Mopy\Wrye Bash Launcher.pyw". Obviously you have to adjust paths to your installation.
Now add this .bat file as an executable to omo and run it. Please note however that I have no clue what features of wrye will work correctly. Whenever wrye (or fo3edit for that matter) creates files, those will end up in "data". If you install a mod from wrye, its content will also end up in "data". Omo's primary feature doesn't apply for such mods.
If you choose to try this, I'd really appreciate feedback on how useful wrye flash is in this combination with omo.
This is an interesting idea, kudos for developing a Mod Manager that adds a unique feature.
Under "Compatibility" in your readme, you say that OMO won't work with Wrye Flash, which is a pity because my LO won't work properly without a bashed patch.
My question: Does OMO support FO3EDIT, so that a "merged patch" can be made?
I doubt that many users can play a heavily modded Fallout without either a bashed or a merged patch (at the very least, unintended consequences will occur).
Hello, it's me again... Anyway recently I've been having a problem launching the FOSE loader through OMO, and thus have been unable to really do much. It's probable a simple problem to solve, but I've tired everything.
I have installed this into my Fallout 3 directory(and the fix patch), but when I try to create a profile it says not found and shuts down. Am I missing something simple here?
Answer: Yes I am. Needed to be run as administrator.
Now to world domination !!!!!
Or not. There are no rifle-shot sounds when I run through this. Oh well never mind. Good work though, thanks.
@frakle: I considered other names, but all I could come up with was HOMO (helpful oblivion mod organizer), MOO (Mod Organizer for Oblivion) or MOFO (Mod Organizer For Oblivion) ...
@ThD17gj692: Sorry I respond this late. Unfortunately there is no easy way to transition from fomm to omo. On the plus side, you don't really need to transition since all mods installed through fomm will continue to work. What you can do is disable all fomods, start fomm through omo and reactivate them. For each fomod you should get the option to put the files into individual folders. re Savegames: This is is feature I'd love to do, I haven't yet looked into how complex that would be though.
