Lovely mod. I was wondering if this could be ported into Skyrim? I would love to kill undead things with these.

Well, I don't think anyone figured out how to make dual-wield guns, unfortunately. But if it's any consolation, there is a mod that adds the Jackal gun for New Vegas and it can be converted to FO3. See the comments on my teamwork uploaded image for a detailed description how.

It's been released for both FO3 and NV, so, yeah, a NV version exists. I must admit I don't like the animation there either, but, yeah, at least it's not half as bad as the FO3 one :p

Well, new version is up. I fixed the icon and the missing swing sound.

I also added the thrown bayonet, to keep it on par with the NV version, but... FO3 really doesn't have any animations for throwing anything else than grenades. I.e., be warned that it looks stupid. If it bothers you, don't use the thrown version.

Well, before the 20'th century made swords obsolete except for ceremonial purposes and sign of rank, they came up with the concept of a "bayonet-sword". So you could attach it to a rifle, or just use it as a fully functional sword in melee.

The Austrians actually had one that looked somewhat close to this one, although a little shorter.

Well, bayonets still work as knives, but they're mostly supposed to be used like that as a tool, rather than double as main infantry weapon.

But that's all basically irrelevant. It's the signature weapon of an anime character, who used them strictly as swords and throwing "knives", and never attached them to a firearm. And it's called a bayonet basically just because everyone calls Anderson's weapon a bayonet :p

And, well, you know, anime and manga aren't known for ultra-realism

BTW, here's how you can get the grey outfit that shojo is wearing in the screenshots, if you want it:

    1. Download my Professional's Suits mod from the New Vegas Nexus.

    2. Unpack it somewhere else. Don't try using it directly in Fallout 3, unless you know how to convert it yourself. Otherwise, just unpack it somewhere else, we'll just copy textures from it to make a replacer.

    3. Make an "armor" directory under your Data/textures directory, if you don't have one already. (You probably have it if you have any armor mods.) Make an "EulogyJones" directory in that "armor" directory, if you don't have one already.

    4. Now look in whatever directory you unpacked the Professional's Suits under the textures/alucard directory. You'll need the following files:

    female_grey_d.dds
    male_grey_d.dds
    hat_grey_d.dds

    5. Copy them into the directory you just made in Fallout 3.

    6. Rename them to:

    female_d.dds
    male_d.dds
    hat_d.dds

    7. Now you have just made Eulogy Jones' suit and hat grey. You can get them off his corpse, or via the console by typing:

    player.additem 00034125 1
    player.additem 00034126 1

Note 1: since those textures are shared by Alicia's CUTE shop version of the hat, if you have the children mod, you'll have retextured that one too. So, really, whether you play child or adult, the same method works for both.

Note 2: well, nobody says you HAVE to wear grey. If you'd rather have the red, blue or purple version of the suits, just use those instead of the grey one.
