very late question, just coming back after a long break from FO3. This compilation looks very interesting, but i saw in (I think) every plugin some deleted navmesh errors....Any comments about this? Crashes or something?
Brilliant stuff It's really nice that it's all modular so once can choose, and every house and camp is so well designed and equipped with switches for lamps and fireplaces. A real eye-candy, each and every one. Here's a bit of feedback (as well as a big thank you) to the author and help for other players: (1) Ranger shack - Beautiful design, very cozy, with a nice view of both Megaton and Springvale. I had a bit of a rough time finding the key despite the description so I hope the mod author won't mind me rephrasing it like this: when you stand right in front of the house, there are little stairs on your right - the rock with the key is at the bottom. (2) Hunters ridge - I grew fond of the separate mod so much, that I didn't bother trying these two versions actually :-) I have no doubt they're just as good, if not even better. (3) Megaton jail and safehouse - A very nice addition to Megaton, kind of refreshes the place. There's a bit of an overlap with one walkway from the "Megaton walkway" mod that leads from the original player house location to the water processing plant, but it's very easy to just disable the critical parts of that walkway via console, and everything will look smooth and natural. The walkway to Moira's, the essential part of that mod, doesn't overlap with this one so no problem there. The cabinet (xx00b91a) in the lower part seems odd, like squashed or partially missing, so I just disabled it. (4) The dockside inn and resort - Awesome, especially the version with Yvette. The interior and exterior is especially nice in the evening and at night, with all the lights on. (5) Campsites - Now these are for the fans of real hard core wastelander life. All the camps are really nice, simple, with nifty features as a lamp and fireplace, and cozy as possible for a camp, but you try falling asleep out there in the open when the night falls, it's pitch black, and you're so exposed and uncomfortably close to Old Olney or Dunwich building :-) The northeastern camp overlaps with the "Hillcrest shack" location of "The Regulators" mod by WilliamSea, but if you're done with that part of "The Regulators" you can simply just disable the shack via console and that's it.
Installed FO3 again, and yours are the only shelter mods I care about. Had hoped to see you make some sites and shelters for FO4, but maybe in 76? Miss seeing you about, brother. Blessings to you!
Appreciate your amazing work. Also wanted to add a vote for bringing back your Farpost Hollow mod if possible. Really liked that one. Good job on all of them though.
Sorry for my bad english.... Dude, i missing your Farpost Hollow Mod...! Thats the BEST HOUSE-MOD i ever seen!!! But i delete my Modlist. HDD was broken. I Read you shut down your Mod. Please Re-Upload them. I miss this perfect Safe-House in my Wasteland.....
I have spent more time browsing this site than actually playing the PC version of the game, but have tried practically every house mod. I'd kept a few options that will do, but once I tried Hunters Ridge v4 that's it, I'm in love, and I don't need to look anymore. The day after dling, I have finally started an actual planned playthrough and I can#'t wait for my character to be 'grown up' and worldywise enough to have earned this amazing house. SO endorsed!
