Thanks for sharing this useful spreadsheet with us, I've endorsed it accordingly.
A few observations and questions, though:-
- How did you activate those checkmark icons shown in the 'Bobbleheads taken' row of your screenshots? I'm merely seeing zeroes and ones, but I'd naturally prefer the less cluttered look displayed in your screenies. Are you using a different version of the sheet, or is this feature unavailable in MS Office 2007 which I'm currently running? (I've double checked to ensure I downloaded your latest v1.1, btw.)
- Likewise, the duplicate Bobblehead warning feature won't work for me either. Instead, the sheet will happily tally and display any total number of same Bobbles I enter.
- I chose the 'Intense Training' perk upon exiting Vault 101 in order to increase my agility. Unfortunately, I couldn't record the stat adjustment in the appropriate section because the corresponding level 2 entry cells are grayed out and uneditable.
- I also took the level 4 'Educated' perk, but there's no setting which automatically adjusts the 3 extra skill points awarded each subsequent level. I currently use the 'Perk adjustments' row to add the extra points upon leveling. It'd be really convenient if you could implement a meta-setting to recognize the skill point boost across the board, as you've done with the 'Comprehension' perk.
- Finally, could you please pm me your sheet's password? I'd like to add the dates and locations of my level-ups for additional reference.
Kudos for uploading this helpful tool. It's a valuable assistant for tracking the player's progress, as well as keeping tabs on gameplay goals.
Also, good catch, how silly of me not to notice something that obvious.. I have fixed that bug (and another one) in v1.1, which is available in Files section.
Honestly, I haven't got around to playing New Vegas quite yet So if you (or anyone else) want to modify calculator with new stuff, feel free to ask for password via personal message, I'll share it gladly. Just be warned, there are like zillion formulas in there Alternatively, you can wait until I release a calculator for New Vegas. I hope I'll have it finished in a week or so.
Excellent file, have endorsed any chance of a New Vegas equivalent or releasing and editible version of the file to allow others to make a New Vegas version?
