Note: I hereby recognize the fact that this mod has not been updated in over six years.

I have run into a small bug: If one levels up multiple times such that a level that would give a SPECIAL point is skipped, no points are awarded. The things you learn when turning in over 200 scrap metal all at once...

You don't need this mod, press the button that lets you enter commands (the one with ` and ~), and type player.addspecialpoints # (# means insert number).

I don't think this mod works with FWE even if you put the .esp after its files.

I'm going to give this a download tonight and use in my new playthrough. I'm thinking this will work really well with FWE.

FWE gives you the option to decide how many Special points your character is built on to start. So I'm thinking I'll install this and then use FWE to have my character start out with a lot less Special Points.

Then I'll be really wimpy during those earlier levels (flabby pampered Vault Dweller heheh) but then by at higher levels (15, 20?) get "caught up" and be the same as I would have been if I started with a normal amount of points.

Thanks, I like this simple little mod. As someone else mentioned, it gives the game a D& feel. The SPECIAL every 2 levels version will give +15 SPECIAL points through level 30. Combine that with the 40 you start with, 7 from the bobble heads, and +1 from ant sight/might or the magic eight ball and you have 63. While 15 extra SPECIAL points sounds crazy, the end result is equal to a 9 in each stat, which is what you get with the Almost Perfect perk. So I see this mod as being something like an Almost Perfect perk that takes effect slowly over the course of the game rather than all at once at level 30. It's definitely going to make you overpowered for a normal game, but if you're like me and you like to replay your 2nd/3rd/whatever time and take advantage of as many of the options as possible along the way, it's very nice.

I don't know how the files vanished, but I re-uploaded them and also changed how often the scripts run to default (5 seconds, I believe). I don't play Fallout much anymore, so I haven't tested this mod very much. I pretty much made it for myself but figured I'd upload it for others. I'm not even sure if the way I did it is the most efficient method.

As one has said, this REALLY only one mod, 1 special every 7 levels. WHERE ARE THE REST????

Will this work with mods that increase the level cap?

I know this is a long shot... but any chance of getting these files for download??

The only download available is for every 7 levels...

I've just noticed something - the quest scripts are set to run 10,000 times per second. Surely they don't need to run any more often than default?
