Having a slight problem with visualization, the game doesn't recognize the armor. it works perfectly to what its supposed to do, but when i go for an external view or in v.a.t.s slow motion shots, there is a big red "!" where I am supposed to be... just a little frustration.
This version also includes a holodisk with information on the origins of the armor, making it more canon and immersion friendly. I recommend downloading this version.
Like the idea but one small thing, why not just have 1 download but include all 3 variations on the main esp in it?.
It will save people from thinking that 2 of them are just older versions or the same file, despite your descriptions I am willing to bet a casual downloader is going to see the numbers and make this mistake.">
That's an extremely cool idea. I'm very ... unknowledgable about the GECK scripting language, though. I will look for help and experiment on my own. If I can find a way to implement it, I will post it here. Thanks for the idea!
I travelled the entire waste looking for this armour only to realize it only existed in my dreams... and now you've made it happen. Hurrah! Well done. I'm going to try out v.2 right away. I must admit I'm a bit concerned that it'll break the game though, we shall have to see.
Coincidently, I've noticed another mod that made power armour run on fusion batteries, limiting their potential. I ignored it, since power armour kinda sucks compared to the ranger armour (who needs an extra 5ish dmr anyway?) and as such didn't need to be nerfed. This beast, on the other hand, might benefit from it: If the stealth field proves to powerful, maybe something like a time limit on how long you can use it in stealth mode before you need to restock on fusion batteries might be better alternative then lowering the field further (Since that's the entire point of the armour). If the batteries runs out, it's just a normal p-armour. Unsure if this would be possible but apparently something similar has been done, so I guess it's not impossible. It would also make fusion batteries worthwhile loot, which would be nice.
The original archive has been reuploaded with the .esp file name changed to stealthpowerarmorv11.esp to reduce confusion, and 2 new versions, v12 and v13, have been uploaded.
V1.2 deactivates the stealth field whenever a weapon is drawn, but allows weapons to be equipped.
V1.3 deactivates the stealth field when any ranged or thrown weapon is equipped. Mines, melee weapons, unarmed weapons, and the mesmetron are allowed.

The new Fission battery version looks very useful.
Thanx
