This Mod works beautifully but if you want DLC support or to edit existing headwear you will need "Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision Patcher" by Tallon314 or edit scripts in GECK
As far as I can tell, the cheat codes in the cheat sheet for this mod, are broke, do not work, at least for me. I had no problem with the codes for the armor, they worked great. If any one knows/has the correct codes, would be thankful if you shared.
I love this mod... I have a strange issue with FOSE though. I can activate Nightvision and Thermal modes via hotkeys, but when I cycle through the Nightvision modes, I only get a change in brightness, not in color tint. Thermal mode colors work as intended however.
Once I switch off FOSE mode, and switch on Nightvision, color tint is working as intended. I'm stumped.. what could be the cause of this?
I was running the latest stable FOSE, but tried with the latest beta build as well.
EDIT: Nevermind. Moved some things around. Reinstalled the mod and installed Human Interface Organizer (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20867/) and all is well now as far as I can tell.
Excuse me sir Gopher but there seems to be a problem with my version of the mod. The mod works but the nightvison does not seem to help very much. Do i have to tweak my ENB? In that case what?
Most ENBs don't work well with nightvision in general (anyone's nightvision, not just this one). There's a NV tweak specifically designed to work with Gopher's mod that might work here, if you're willing to experiment with it...read everything before doing anything.
Reinstalled fallout GOTY and now the mod is only partially functional: the nightvision does nothing and the thermal vision no longer have the blue background, the targets are still orange in thermal vision though. Is there a solution to this issue?
I would like to have the overlay from the start so that it looks like the first picture, i.e. the black area without transparency. Who has an idea how to do that? Solution found, tweaked a script and some textures.
Its not just this mod, its mods in skyrim, special edition n such , and its not for oblivion, vortex will spits out message for new vegas as well , ... When I used vortex , I tried to ghost the pluggin, but then that meant the the mod might'n or never showed in game, vortex really annoyed the heck out of me like that ... I came back back to mo2, .. vortex is saying that, from I got from googling, is that when the mod was created, while back, a creation kit for new vegas or oblivion was used to create teh mod with due to fo3 not having its own ck yet ... You can choose to just ignore it ?
If you have the original Skyrim ( 2011, not the Special Edition ) you can use the Archive.exe that comes with the Skyrim Creation Kit to re-archive the two unpacked .bsa
When they are repacked, Vortex will not bother you again with that message, since the .bsa are now packed with the right version of the Archive tool

Same problem as you, and you provided the solution.
Cheers.
