Mod author hasn't been seen since 2016. I guess he/she got tired of waiting for Bethesda to fix the navmeshing issue. As if that was ever going to happen. Meanwhile we're stuck with a mod that's full of good ideas but doesn't warrant installing thanks to its navmeshing being a nightmare. Oh-well. The mod has too many incompatabilities with other mods that alter Megaton and/or the player home anyway. Would have tried the mod if the navmashing had been done properly...
You could try the Snipers Edition - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6066
But frankly I don't have a problem with either version. One thing I do note is after install, npcs will initially be seen gathered on the roof of the clinic, but upon later visits the problem goes away. Some report issues that seem to be more related to problems caused by player home mods, and these can sometimes be resolved by placing this mod after any player home mod.
I found a bug. If you blow up Megaton using this mod, you won't be able to see the mushroom cloud at all. It also happens with another mod i use, Megaton Bunker ( http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2478 ), so it may be related to some modifications made to Megaton.
I seem to be getting a bug. I came into town one day and it was totally barren, no one around.. then i happen to look up and see EVERYONE on Lucas Simms' mod extended balcony.. It was like they were having a party with everyone invited except me! So I sniped them all. Anyway, it's a weird bug
Fallout 3 Already does enough damage to the Lore of the Series, I don't see how making it bigger can hurt the Lore, Fallout 1 & 2 had Actual towns and Cities, And every city had a certain Product that they could export that made them unique and built Somewhat of a economics in the wasteland,Not these Settlements and Hamlets they call "towns" and "villages" who sell almost the same thing, with no economic value whatsoever, So if you really want to expand megaton, make it bigger, You won't hurt the lore, you might even make it better.
