Can someone make something using ONLY the need requirements scripts?
the rest of Reborn screws up my game. I'd be very thankful and give an endorsement.

I have a question regarding the mod, although this mod is fantastic and i could play for hours, the aiming on my guns is off. As in when i shoot, the round goes much higher than where i want it to and the some of the guns i cant even look down the sights of, is there any way to fix this, or is it just a problem that i should reinstall my game?

Honestly, you've hit the nail on the head. Reborn is, for all intents and purposes, for me alone. It takes a lot of time and some organization to release it online, and answering a lot of the same noob questions over and over again does take a lot of patience. I think you'd be shocked over the ratio of time I spend modding over the time I spend preparing releases and helping people use my mod. I'd say a 10:1 ratio, which is rather high, I feel. If I kept this mod for myself, that time could have been spent improving the mod, or doing something else.

Let me make it simple: I do play other mods, but usually only small and unrelated ones. Such as weather mods. Also, a lot of custom models from other mods were used in my mod (credit was, of course, given for those who contributed). To test Reborn against other mods, I'd have to install them all one by one, play for at least a few minutes (more likely a few hours). Reading just the description won't be enough, you never know whats going on behind the scenes. Even then, you wouldn't be 100% that it would work on every setup or that the whole game is fine, since it takes hundreds of hours to thoroughly complete this game.

Anyhow, you might like reborn if you enjoy semi-realistic combat games, and if you prefer feeling somewhat vulnerable, instead of being a terminator like machine that simply walks around absorbing damage. Also, if you like Fallout the way it plays standard, avoid my mod like the plague. The game is bears little resemblance to the vanilla game (regarding gameplay style, graphically, it is almost the same).

To sum up my points, asking for one page of description per main feature would result in a large 10-20 page essay no-one would read (most people can't even be bothered to read the README file, that's maybe 2-3 pages). Asking me (or any modder) to test compatibility against all major mods is insanity. Also, keep in mind that I've spent around 200 hours working on this mod, how come it's so much for us modders to ask you players to test out things for yourself? Worst case, you lose a few hours, don't cry to us, we've invested tens of hours working on this mod, we are leaders of the time-loss club. If a mod doesn't play nice, or you don't like it, uninstall it and move on, nothing lost. Ever considered that?

Well, if you do this mod only for your own enjoyment (reasonable) then no, it's useless to go through that sorting phase. However if you want to make your work easy to share with others, it's a small ammount of time to dedicate compared with the time it took you to create all of this. Right now, for every entry in your mod there is another mod that does the same job better or worse. With your mod it's a take-it-all-or-leave-it kind of deal, instead of being able to combine the best of two worlds (the same goes with FOOK and FWE mods). And it is such a vast overhaul, that it is difficult to even compare your mod with all the others combined to decide if I would like that deal! To give you a players point of view, what you describe as sleep/food/drink changes in one line, there are 3-4 mods that do the same things and spend one description page describing only those changes! How am I to compare this part of your mod? Let alone the rest of the vast catalogue!

If you ever decide it to be worthwhile, here is an example of 10 big-enough sub-categories:
    Weapons - Armor/Clothes - Explosions - Physical Needs - Companions - Mobs - New items/Economy - Houses - Landscape - Perks - Gameplay/Misc/Other

PS. Although not neccessary, scanning through the descriptions of the most popular other mods (endorsements>100), about 100 mods, will take you less than 1 hour and will give you much insight. Who knows, you might even find a mod that you like too!

Lets see, over 5600 modified entries... Hmmm, do I want to sort through that all? No. It's easier to assume everything has been changed. A few smaller mods might work, assuming reborn is last in the mod load order. Don't expect another huge mod to play well with this one. Trying to support every mod out there would be like trying to do Santa Claus's job. Good luck.

Thanks for the complements, and I agree with being unable to play the old game. I tried recently and made it about 10 minutes before going back.

As I do not support other mods, you will have to do all the work modding other weapons to work with my mod, but it is a small job.

I had downloaded it a long time ago but never endorsed it. I can't play Fallout without this mod now. It's light, stable, efficient, turns FO3 into such a better game. Too bad, every time I add a new weapon, I modify its stats in the GECK according to the stats you gave to your weapons.

Thank you, you made the game much more enjoyable to me ! I will endorse it as soon as I can (I just re-downloaded it to be able to endorse)
