Works at is has to, have all what u can need for a house.Looks nice. Center of the map. What else u can need?
And , about key - look ppl, it is written , and yes it IS THERE. Your problem is this - mailbox is down on the road, not in front of the house. From house - take road toward Bigtown and u will see that elusive mailbox.
I had key dilemma too - note, I don't know of any note. I went through all comments here and there Daniels Family Vault 1dot2 by Zenman http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/14745 did another search on google without an answer. I decided after reading how lots of people had spent over an hour looking for that elusive key that I'd better go through the GECK and place one on the porch myself, which I did.
No matter how long it took Zenman to make this mod and no matter how long it took tolborg to update it I'm pretty sure that much time has also been spent by users searching for the whereabouts of that elusive vault key. That's just a fact.
From Mod description page: "The key (as mentioned in the note) is found in a hollow rock sitting on the ground beside the mailbox post in front of the destroyed house. The mailbox is beside the road in front of the house."
@Robins- the mailbox is not where you expect. Look on the right side of the road moving north I think it would be. There is a mailbox that seems to not be connected to a house, but it belongs to the house a ways behind it on the same side of the road.
I'm at some diner, I followed southwest like he said, maybey a little off. I found some old ruined houses and a mailbox lying on the ground. Nothing still. I can't even find the house. And I totally love the look of this house mod. Am I doing something wrong Or in the wrong area? NM. Sorry found it..I used tmm 1
Just joined, read the rules, >.< and started looking for a mod home for my Character's..I found 4 but then I came across this one and wow. (0.0) So cool looking. Downloading Now. Nice Mod tolborg. Update: Just Installed, loaded and checked it out. Very Sweet. but yep, gonna have to try and change the pictures if i understood his instructions correctly using Gimp. Thank's tolborg.
Looks great. Couldn't find any real flaws besides not being able to talk to the robot, he wouldn't open dialog just stayed in the utility room saying what is it now sir. Not really a big deal because I was never fond of those robots anyway, doesn't take away from the rest of the mod. Which is nice - not too big or too small has everything you would expect a vault to have and a few extras, no light switches but the pool makes up for it lol thanks for sharing keep up the nice work.
Ahh..So clean and neat.. Beautiful. My Girl Char loves it. as soon as I can I will definatly endorse. I'm adding pictures of my favorite Anime Girl's to the wall pictures. Awesome mode..Endorsed.. Thank's! Added note: i loaded tried to load the dds picture files in paint pro X5, would not accept them >:[ it's ok, I will find someone to convert them for me.
A really nice, clean and roomy vault player home. This will definitely stay in my game. This is my second favorite only because I have used Vault 1 with Nos's Remodel for so long that it feels like home. A really nice job, keep up the good work.
Update: Don't try to put your Nuka Colas into the fridges to make them ice cold. They will disappear. I use the Dynamic Poster Replacer as an easy way to replace some of the pictures in the vault. It replaces posters in the wasteland too but you can work around that if you want to.

Hope that helps!
