Will this patch help the geck to start cause using windows 8.1 you can't even get the geck to start. I have tried deleting and reinstalling it countless times to no avail!! had trouble with FONV geck also but finally found a solution to get it running. the FO3 no such luck with it. I have tried everything and there seems to be little that I can find on the internet for help. I really want to use the geck to mod some of the game. could anyone help?
I was having this exact problem. I tried every fix out there. What did fix it is I reinstalled Thru Steam Both the Game and The GECK. DID NOT ADD ENB Booste Yet. From a lot, (and I mean A Real Lot), Of Reading, It may be EN Boost that messes with GECK. I really hope this helps you, if you haven't already found the Cure.
A pity that this doesn't add a Conversation Editor to the FO3 GECK. I haven't used it in the FNV version, but that feature alone makes me afraid to do any voiced mods for FO3.
Please add support for editing and saving Master Files. (ESM) This is a real pain to deal with converting back in forth with FO3Edit, especially when you only have a few errors to fix. Example : "There is an extra space after..blaa,blaa,blaa" this error should go down as the most aggravating GECK error. People making mods, please make sure you do not add an extra space at the end of naming something, thanks.
Would you fix the Bug where you open an .esp and work off of it(cells) and when you save again your work doesn't show up in game..So it's like you have to finish the project in one workthough
Sorry Had to remove it, It disassociated files with the geck and slammed the system to a snails crawl, 7 minutes between selected items to load, every click I had to wait 3-5 minutes to edit anything. Followed instructions to the letter too. So I removed them as directed and had to re Establish The geck as the editor through the OS Windows 732bit Ultimate. Still needs some work. I'll be checking on your web link for up dates. Thanks.

For that alone you have earned kudos from me.
Once my system stops acting up and I have a chance to work with the GECK again I'll give this a go, and expect to return with an endorsement.
Now it should work on Windows XP. Also tested on Vista 32-bit. If somone could test on other versions, that would be great.
