Nice work, one of the cutest companions ever :-) Though, when I enter a building / complex with her, the relatively-nearby enemies get alarmed immediately, even though we're both crouching. If I enter the same space alone, they don't get alarmed, so there's something about her... But still, very enjoyable.
Thank you. She does not have sneak as one of her abilities/skills since she uses big guns and others. If you have the Geck, you can change her abilities, but I am no longer modding, so I can't. Glad you enjoy her company anyway.
Members of the Brotherhood of Steel/Outcasts are not really known for their stealth skills anyway. The use of Power Armour rather negates one's stealthiness. Just sayin'...
Oh, nice to see the mod author is still here :-) MDC519, thank you again for creating such a good mod, I'm quite new to FNV/FO3 world (I dove in about a year ago), and ever since I found and installed Victoria she's been the permanent inhabitant of my Wasteland. Many other mods come and go as I fed up with them, but I couldn't imagine uninstalling Vicky as long as I'm playing FO3 Cheers!

If you are asking where do you find her, she is hanging out on the deck in front of the Megaton player home. If she is not there, try a re-install of the mod. If you fire her, she will go to the Megaton community house...you can also maybe look there. Hope that helps.
no I was asking if she would appear before the enclave show up in the game, because the main reason she want to help you is because both of you hate the enclave and having her show up before the Enclave would not be Lore-friendly.
Sorry for the misunderstanding....if you go straight to Megaton from the vault, then yes she will be too early. If you wish to keep it lore friendly, then I suggest you wait until you encounter the Enclave in game to load my mod. There are Enclave patrols around the Megaton area, but not that common. Since the Enclave are one of the main villains in the game, I did not take that into account....sorry for the oversight.
I'm having an issue with Victoria randomly running off to Megaton, no matter where I am on the map. I thought this was SCC or other issue, but none of my other 3 companions (Jessi/Kelsey/Jasmine) have this issue.
Does anyone know what's going or can confirm her doing this? I'm not saying it's an issue with the mod, but it is isolated to her in my game.
Sorry to hear you are having a problem. While you are not having this issue with your other companions, this is still probably a conflict with another mod. I do not recall this issue before. Try moving Victoria in your mod load order, or turning off other mods to see if that will fix the issue. I do not believe it is one of the other companion mods causing the issue, though. You can also try to use FO3Edit (see my credits for a link) to find what is causing it. BTW thanks for the endorsement and good luck. Edit: Also, just a thought...can you use her summoning glasses to get her to return to you?
@101VRanger, I don't quite understand what do you mean. I just said that both, Victoria and my Kim, have unused melee skill when they have flamethrower in their inventory. I was thinking about replacing melee skill with something else. Explosives are not practical.
Kim has only small guns unlimited ammo, Victoria has none.
Anyone who wishes to modify this mod as either a new version or use her as a base for another mod, has my permission to do so. She has already been used as the base for a couple of other mods. Please feel free to make changes if you wish to.
Unlimited ammo for flamethrower and ALL weapons then? unlimited ammo for small guns and even most of the energy weapons is ok for me ... but for heavy weapons? dunno ... followers turn to be a little too invincible or too deadly with unlimited flame ammo; I'm actually with Scarlasha companion with her unlimited plasma rifle and I just watch her deal with 2 or 3 mutants (not the harder ones) by herself, not the kind of challenge I'm looking for ...
I've been out of this game a long while but I think there was a GECK way to fix this ... or not?? ">
anyway, what I simply do is not give these kind of unlimited ammo companions flamethrowers or flame weapons and that's it ...
@101Vranger, yes, the best way is to copy&paste script into some real text editor (notepad would also do) and do search&replace. Than copy&paste back.
BTW, I have a suggestion how you can play Bank Job v2, both, sent you a PM, and posted on discussion.
I was thinking about releasing a separate fix, but then figured out that her dialogue is not very user friendly, so I decided to focus on my own companion. Kim is almost as good in heavy weapons as Victoria, but Kim can sneak much better. Unlike Victoria, Kim uses firearms (small guns) instead of energy weapons, and her magnum has unlimited ammo after level 12. They are equal in melee weapons. They are quite alike. I've even given MDC credits for inspiration.
And, for both girls, melee weapons are useless if you give them some variant of flamethrower. They will use it for close range, and their melee weapon becomes nothing but dead weight. I thought about Kim having explosives skill instead of melee, but then the hand grenades often keep landing too close for comfort, if you know what I mean.
