Would really like to see this mod ported over for NV. I've seen NV mods that rework how blood pack heals and ones that allowed the player the create blood packs from their own blood, but not any that boost the game's meager supply in a static manner.
i was just wondering why....? i mean cmon blood packs dont really heal (ok 1hp woohoo il survive because of it) or maybe its to be used with some kind of vampire mod? or is it just for realism? cmon man give us some details please
With Galloping Gourmet they heal 60 over a minute.

Ya this is for a few Vampire mods I'm using in conjunction, but that blood ties quest can make them useful too! If you don't want to go through that quest, just give yourself the Hemotophage perk and there you go: a nice alternative to stimpacks!

It was made as a request from the forums but yes, it can be used with any vampire mods, and the mods that give you better health restoration from blood packs would very much benefit from it. Plus, blood packs are much cheaper than stimpacks (even if they do heal rather less) but for people who struggle through the game at the start will find it a little lifesaver. As FrogDemon said, there is a Family quest that makes Blood Packs as useful as Stimpacks. And, because they're cheaper and easier to salvage, that's a good thing. But that's if you're willing to go that route.
Awesome idea. After doing the Family quest this will come in handy. No more Cannibalism! Well, less then before. Thank you, will be adding this to the game. I rate this as a 10 for it's usefulness.
