Ah the forgotten legend "bus home", I always come back to this. Nostalgia engulfing. For some of us, "We Do Not FOrget". lol

Solid wasteland home mod....I see you said you were done working on it, however, if you do plan to come back, it'd be awesome to see maybe a naval cot instead of the mattress, as well as a couple gun & armor footlockers....well done though.

It's been a while sense I've been here! Checking up on the good ol' Bus on a rock house mod!

It would be cool if the bus hung over the cliff

It does not work for me! It keeps crashing! Help please!

When ever I get within, about, 500 feet of it, my game crashes. And I don't think I have any mods interfering....

EDIT: Nvm, I changed its priority to #1 and it works perfectly, excellent mod, my friend!

Hello. I'm glad you all like the mod, unfortunately I'm not working on it anymore, as I stopped playing the game in late december last year. If someone wants to take over the job on my other mod, "Two new wastelandish homes", be my guest, however, this one I'm keeping for myself, as I've planned to start playing the game and modifying it again. Thanks for the feedback on the mod, and sorry for just leaving all of a sudden.

Oh yes, Into The Wild, one of my favourite movies. It was partially inspired from that movie, yes. But even before I saw the movie I played the game, and I was just longing for a home like this.

Oh and, if anyone wants to remove the bomb-shelter in their game, that's fine, I planned to release a version without it before I left.

"While I like the look of your house mods, I have not yet used them in my game. The main reason is that I feel that a nice house - one better than a hole in a rock - should be "earned" somehow. Either via a purchased deed, or a fight to kill the current owners."

This isn't Oblivion, there is no over-arching social structure, things have fallen apart. You "earn" what you can scavenge --- or take at the point of a gun.

If you haven't noticed, vanilla Fallout has many (many!) locations that could be taken over as "homes" without "earning" them --- you just have to find them.

This mod is no different. Somebody else went to the effort of building themself a secure hideout, and now they're gone. You'll never know what happened to them. Just like the hundreds of other unanswered questions in the Wasteland.

Tho, if it makes you happy, maybe the author can put a couple of rotting skeletons around the compound...

I didn't make any demands - just stated my preference and said that I would check back to see how this mod progresses. My comment about his mod being a 'nice place' was a compliment. Now, you may disagree, as may the mod author, on whether this place should have a quest/price/battle to get it. That's fine. My opinion is that it should. My opinion, just like yours, however, holds no power or force over what the mod author ultimately decides to do. If Sorkenlol decides not to add in such things, I will not give a bad rating on the mod. I will simply exercise my discretion and pass on downloading it. There are plenty of house mods out there, and among them are plenty of houses to suit most everyone's tastes.

Again, I will state that the mod looks good and I shall keep track of its progress, but for now, I will not be using it in my game. No offense intended - just my own preference.

this house is awesome! but one thing where are the keys for the safe (in the bunker) and the fence? It said i didn't have them and i couldn't find them anywhere

The keys i used to get in was the Overseer keys wich you get from vault 101 while running through the start area. You wont get this keys with alternate start mods. To the author of the mod: it would be nice if you could either remove that keys are needed or use another key or something.
