I haven't even tried this mod, to each and everyone complaining about the cost of the milk price you pay, think on what the author was trying to do. I mean its a old game yes, but the mods now make the game look cutting edge and so immersive compared to the earlier generation mods once released. If you lived long enough like in this 1950's entrapped culture bombed to smithereens i would say to Bethesda's standard price any rare substance or food costs at least minimum 5 caps or more. If you can even think to get your hands on some real milk expect it to contain rads and health benefit short term healing. I give kudos and will try this mod myself, playing with realistic damage mod, more realistic mods period lol why so? i play on very hard and i enjoyed Fall Out New Vegas "Hardcore mode" So i have the closest mod to that and mods to enhance the wasteland immersive experience. Try not getting even a simple punch inflicted in game and not feel the rawness to the harsh wasteland with a bleeding mod, hence you take a mere 30 point hit, you began to bleed out and must find healing quick! Good job on creating this mod, for a player like me i value finding re-healing substances thanks again! ps, this milk on further review removes rads! whoa I'm definitely adding this.
Its more than eight years ago that you created this - its a gem. I had to edit the mod slighty since I am using this alongside Simple Needs and wanted the milk to fullfill my thirst need like a light drink would do.
Dont know why this mod isnt much more popular. Brahmins are so iconic. Thank you vampirecosmonaut!
Love this mod, but it is sheer stupidity to have it cost 5 caps. I'm not buying the milk from the brahmin. It only takes 1 cap to seal a bottle, and with the million ways there are to break the economy and make enough caps to buy out every vendor in the game worrying about a petty 4 caps per milk bottle is nonsense. At least it's a simple fix in GECK to change the script to 1 cap and make this the way it should have been in the first place.
should really only be 1 cap to seal it, maybe with a chance to fail depending on mechanical skill? then 5 caps to sell it, but maybe you make it so it's considered stealing? but have a way you can acquire your own brahmin or either sneak and get it? just an idea. thx tho
Edit: Fixed. It doesn't work on new Brahmin added by another mod, but it works for the one in Megaton at least. Most likely works on all the Brahmin in the vanilla game.
:'( Going insane. I loved this mod, and had it working on my last PC, but now I can't get it to work. Even when loaded dead last, nothing happens when I click a Brahmin unless I'm sneaking, then I just give them a shove. Anyone else have the same problem and figure out how to solve it? I know this is a small mod, but it's one of my favorites.(Would love it even more if it had a 1 cap version. There are so many things in the game you can abuse if you want to, that cheap milk has to be on the bottom of the list. It just bothers me a bit that it takes more than 1 cap to seal a milk bottle.)
I like to think that the wider neck of the milk bottles requires improvising a cap out of the old bottle caps, and it takes several to make the milk cap big enough.

This doesn't seem to be a very popular idea.
