Description
===========

Under the bridge near the Super-Duper Mart there is a tent, and in that tent there lies "Lobbing Bob", a local hunter with a love of anything small, round and explosive.

Bob perfected a suit designed specifically to enhance his already impressive grenade lobbing talent. Unfortunately, Bob can lob no more, so now that he has no need of the outfit, it and a few other choice goodies are yours.

Of course, it isn't quite that simple, but then nothing ever is...


History
=======

I've rebuilt the mod from scratch, and changed a lot of things - including hopefully removing all the glitches in the last version and adding a little more polish - and making it more balanced. I think v1 handed too much to the player on a plate - this version simply gives the player a helping hand for their chosen variety of violence.


Details
=======

In an Easy locked footlocker inside Bob's Tent there is the Grenadier's Garb, and the Grenadier's Cap.

The Grenadier's Garb is a modified Merc Adventurer outfit with stats intermediate between that and Leather Armour (Weight 12, Health 150, DR 18, Value 180) that imparts +10 for Explosives.

The Grenadier's Cap uses the Roving Trader Hat as the basis, but gives +1 to Perception and +1 to Luck.

Additionally, scattered around his tent you should also be able to find several other items of use, including a stash of frag grenades, a Duck and Cover! magazine, Mentats and a few others.


Purpose
=======

This mod is intended to make the early and mid game easier for a character specialising in Explosives, hopefully without affecting balance too much. It is designed to give a significant but not overpowering bonus to those wishing to avoid the annoyance of having to fall back on Small Guns.


Compatibility
=============

This mod should not need any DLC, or any other mods - just vanilla Fallout 3. However, since I have the GOTY version installed, I may have unwittingly used DLC components - but I'm pretty damn sure this isn't the case.

If I'm wrong or you find any other kind of problem or conflict, please let me know as soon as possible so I can tweak it.

The mod should only conflict with any other mods that alter the area under the bridge next to Super-Duper Mart.

Among these are Xyx0r's excellent (and highly recommended) "More Map Markers", as one of the markers sits inside Lobbing Bob's tent. If you fast travel to 'under the bridge', you will be stuck inside and will need to fast travel elsewhere to get free. I hope to produce either a patch that moves the fast travel marker or a new version of "Grenadier's Garb" that completely moves Bob's tent out of the way of the marker.


Future
======

24/11/2014: I'm currently working on a new and improved version that will move Lobbing Bob's abode to a new but nearby location that looks better, gives more space, makes more sense and shouldn't conflict with the majority of mods. This version will also add more traps and obstacles (you're going to have to earn that suit and all the other goodies, but if you're good enough you might walk away with even more), more backstory and flavour material and eventually add a version of the garb with a unique texture and ultimately mesh.
