    Well when I posted El Dorado the first time it simply became a controversy. I don't do controversy.

    I do sometimes attempt to satisfy those who I believe may have a legitimate desire, that is why I posted this version. It has everything the detractors claimed they wanted...yet not many are downloading it, are they?

    I'm not sure why the graphic glitch on the first house, except the original RE4 Pueblo did not have all the normal files. El Dorado does have, but I don't recall if I made new normal files for this expanded version.

    All I did here was extend the nav meshes, add a population, spawn points for combat, and give the village a life. You have to fight your way in, and hopefully the population can handle most of the fights once you arrive, though you may get other opportunities.

    The only problem I had with El Dorado was this house towards the beginning that would dissappear. I could run into it and possibly go in the house, but I couldn't see anything. But, what surprises me more than that funny bug was that you took it off, even if temporarily. Most modders have a very 'take it or leave it' look on things. So if someone didn't like their mod, they just say ' Ah well, too bad, you don't have to download it.' Why do you do it differently, why take down an awesome player house/town mod because of some 'bad egggs' so to speak.

    I am very chuffed that someone has gone and made something better out of this mod.
    Not only that, but from looking at Bond's other work, s/he is clearly a very talented graphics designer.
    Will certainly give this mod a go when I get my computer back

    hmm....
    I used to mod this game, seeing it come to the game I'm currently modding is very surprising. I might download, but there is definantly a kudos coming your way. Many thanks.

    When planning such a mod, I had to take into consideration the various levels of players seeking to enter the village. I made it difficult enough for a high level player by the sheer number of adversaries, but possible for a level 5 or 6 player.

    Once one enters the village itself, the inhabitants can about take care of themselves, although one of them sometimes gets killed.

    I haven't had any feed back on this Kalalokki, so I'm not sure what "feel" we are discussing. Too difficult, not difficult enough, too many or too few villagers?

    You can't change the village itself. It is a single mesh into which each of the buildings are set and they are not interchangeable.

    Kalalokki, don't let this stop you. Make your version anyway. My intent is certainly not to inhibit other modders from using the original, or expanding on this addition for their own mods.
