The problem is, that VATS doesn't recognises the body mesh name of childs (blocking the part "child" of everything?). I found out, that if you change mesh body filename used at any child Race (in FO3Edit oder GECK) from childfemaleupperbody.nif to chfemaleuperbody.nif (yes, but this is the solution!) AND disable the flag "essential" than you can kill all childs via VATS! Note, that you also have to change the nif filename (FO3datacharacters) to that you wrote in the race.
hi! i edit your childrens mods in fo3edit, and change the races to the races in enhanced.esm, and works! now i can use vats in your childrens and... kill them. i like your mods, because in my oppinion, add realism to the game. thanks!
I've just come across a problem! After I installed this mod, the Killable Children mod stopped working. Which means invincible hostile children!! Do you know how to fix this? What order should they be in?
Thanks Rasana for your intervention. And kiwi82mx, you already asked me to work with you so yeah I know your mod. I would recommend yours but not with mine, because yes it changes too much things. My mods are very simple, it's just meant to add atmosphere to the game. This is not a "kids version of FOOK". So please, in future stop making advertisements on other threads, saying that yours is more advanced that others... I think it is a kind of lack of respect for people who worked hard - maybe not as hard as you, but they deserve respect for their work as well.
Forgive my intromission but why not recommend our mod? Its much more advanced than killable children and even has resources you could find useful for your mod? Just wondering ">.

Well, for a simple reason - it changes too much in the game.
Great mod you have. Don't get me wrong there. I have loaded it, I have tried it, and have played half a game with it which included all the DLC's. Its okay.
But all the requirements, which are somewhat buggy, drove me away when I had to think about the other mods I had, and what I had to do in FO3Edit along with your suggested mod to get everything to work together nicely. And the whole naked kid thing. Yea...say what you will, but its there in your mod.
My suggestion to you - never advertise or propose a debate about your mod in another modders thread. Its totally crossing the line of what's reasonable in the modding community. That's why I'm blunt here. While I'm not a fan of Saggi's work, he caught my attention with this mod, I looked, and then I get to see you advertising your own mod in another modders thread who is doing something different than you are. Bad form....very bad form. Keep your advertisements of your own mod to your own threads, except in cases of a total ripoff of your work.
I won't report your comment as off topic for now, but be aware of the line you are treading, because if you push your agenda any further in this thread, you will get reported.
To get back on topic....Saggi, I've downloaded your mod after trying several children addons, and will give you a comment on this one after having played a bit of it through. Only problem - I just started a new game! ">
I've tried the raider children mod that was added to this site and liked it quite a bit, so I'm eager to see children added to other areas of the game. I play a Regulator in FO3 (another mod), so its interesting to see the hostile youths vs the non-hostile youths added into the game.
