If this doesn't work for you and you're using MO2 under the configure profiles button make sure automatic archive invalidation is checked and it should solve your issue.
Hi I ve installed the 3 bornagain power armor mods using vortex and used loot after. Textures are installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\Textures\armor but they don't replace the originals. Any help thanks
hey uhh.. i downloaded the mod but the texture of my t51 power armor didn't change at all. pls i need help. no other power armor textures work on me, its still the same
make a separate save in game>quit>turn archive invalidation off>load the save you made>make another separate save>quit>turn archive invalidation back on>load save. hope that works, dont know if it will tho
Hi ! I'm trying to get some custom textures for the armor in one of my mods, none of your content will be in my mod and i won't published it, it's only for me don't worry. i have some questions, did you do those textures with Gimp ? mine are'nt recognised by the game :/ my only question is : what are the caracteristics of the dds file ? how is it compressed ? were the mipmap loaded when you changed the file ? thanks for your time ! i'm kind of lost right now :'(
I love this mod i was wondering if u could make one for new vegas to because i like the nevegas look but this is better than the regular T51B-power armor
I had this problem as well and finding through various posts evenutally tracked it down to using the BoS Diversification mod with the bornagain t51B mods - beautiful pieces of work by the way - so much better than the original armour. I was having the glowing problem across the board with any T51 armour, Sarah Lyons and her team were glowing like Ghouls. So basically a bit of investigation in the FO3 Editor lead me to the BOS diversification mod and its references to the T51b armour where they did not have any references for a global or a glow mapping.
Following the advice that was used here by Panzersharcat here
I was able to add the default glow and global map references for the t51b armour (\armour\t-51bpowerarmor\t-51b powerarmor_g.dds and \armour\t-51bpowerarmor\t-51b powerarmor_m.dds) to the BoS Diversification esp in Fallout3 Editor and that fixed the problem - as described clearly the Armour was not using the blackened global map base and so when the natural shine of the Boragain plugin was overlaid over the non black global map - you got Ghoul effect - so if you are using the Bornagain and BoS Diversification Mods - this might fix it for you?

Yes it's in the right place. I've doublechecked by comparing filenames, dates and sizes against the master download.
Archive inval is set to 1
All mods are disabled, even dlc.
I've even used the GECK to check the file path and see the NIF, which shows the reskin.
Despite all that, it's still the vanilla texture ingame.
