This is Dad's room in Rivet City before he set out in search of ...
You gain access to it after speaking to Doctor Li about Dad's whereabouts during the quest, 'Scientific Pursuits'.
When you pass by a certain door on the Midship Deck you will discover a note and key in your pocket.
Back story developed in Doctor Li's note and in James' Private Terminal.

Dad is a driven and focused scientist, who now works alone. The room reflects this. Few frills, a fair amount of tech.**

**Explanation below is of the 7 master file version. The other esp file has less sorting and ammo conversion functionality.
**Instructions are also provided on how to disable or tweak any tech you think is unnecessary, overpowered, or whatever.
**'Tweaking DadsRCRoom.txt' & 'Replenish Templates.txt' lay out the details.

Terminals
=======

1. Inventory Manager**
Sort many inventory items (all ingestibles) to appropriate containers. (Dirty Water automatically purified, Bent Tin Cans automatically straightened, & Ice Cold Nuka-Cola automatically converted to standard Nuka-Cola.)
Sort Ammunition into four categories: Stock (Conventional), Energy, Grenades & Mines, and Darts, Railway Spikes, & BBs.
Replenish Necessities with one click. (Purified Water, Chems, etc. -- assuming you have sufficient numbers stored.)
I don't know what you consider a necessity, so this function requires a bit of simple set-up as explained in the documentation.
Lockpick Fabrication from cutlery (Butter Knives, Forks, Big Spoons, Metal Spoons, & Sporks).
Nuka-Cola Quantum Conversion (12 Nuka-Colas can be converted to 1 Nuka-Cola Quantum).
Ice Cold Nuka-Cola Conversion.
Mole Rat Wonder Meat Preparation in bulk. (One Wonderglue is automatically retained for crafting a certain weapon. The rest will be used to make Wonder Meat, assuming you have enough Mole Rat Meat.)
Weapon schematics' components can be summoned to your inventory via this terminal.
Ditto for Nuka Grenade and Bottlecap Mine Components. These components are kept in a different container to allow for quicker mass production.
FWE v6 Kit & Junk Metal Weapon components can also be summoned to your inventory via this terminal.
**FWE is not required for this mod. However, the Kits etc. listed under "Crafting" - FWE ..." can only be crafted if you have FWE installed.

2. Ammo Converter Console**
Includes all DLC and CALIBR v1.4 ammo, grenades, and mines. Over 90 types.
Converts any stock ammo type into any other stock ammo type. (BBs, Darts, & Railway Spikes not included)
Converts any energy ammo type into any other energy ammo type. (Mini Nuke, Flamer Fuel, & Nuka Grenade classified as energy ammo)
Conversion ratio based on ammo cost. Ammo integration twice as expensive in Ammo Units as Ammo disintegration. Example: One Missile, base price of which is 50 caps, yields 50 Ammo Units, but costs 100 Ammo Units to make.
Nuka Grenades and Bottlecap Mines can be disintegrated into Ammo Units, but can only be created at a standard workbench.

3. James' Private Terminal
Provides the back story for this room.
Also provides detailed information on the use of the tech in this room and a bit of a back story for some of it.

Activators
========

1. Workbench Repair Accessory**
Allows you to repair everything in your inventory to a level commensurate with your Repair skill for the price of one piece of Scrap Metal. The Scrap Metal is automatically removed from the appropriate container.

2. Body Purifier**
Cures Radiation Sickness -- More if you adjust the script.

3. Standard Workbench, My First Infirmary, My First Laboratory.

4. Restored Jukebox (GNR), Restored Vintage Zenith Radio (Agatha's Station - must do her quest first), Standard radio by the toilet (Enclave Radio).**

Containers
========

1. Nearly all unique containers clearly labelled.
2. Garbage Can that will get rid of any non-quest item you don't want. Has fail-safe mechanism so that you get one more chance to get the discarded item back.

Other
====

1. Toilet you can sit on.
2. Added to James's Suitcase: Cracker Unit (Science +10), Paramedic's Scalpel (Medicine +10), Mechanic's Wrench (Repair +10), Burglar's Picks (Lockpick +10), & James' Old Lab Coat (No enchantment). Dump them in the Garbage Can if you think they are cheats.

- No Bobblehead Stand (A good one is available for sale in FWE and can be placed on the large table).
- No armor, weapons, skill books -- the ones you may see in the screenshots are statics.
- No caps or valuables.
- Not companion friendly -- Scripted so that only the player may enter the room.
- No armor or weapons display. You can place things on the big table in the center of the room though.
- No bathtub, etc. Sponge baths are Dad's norm.
- No stove, etc. Dad eats out most of the time and only has a Hot Plate.

*Install the above (ONLY 1 esp) into the Fallout 3 Data Folder.

** If you want to upgrade mid-game from previous versions to v400, you will have to do a clean installation of the mod.
1. Remove everything you have stored from the room. Except items added by this mod (Burglar's Lockpicks, etc.).
2. Move your player to the Rivet City Stairwell.
3. Save and exit the game.
4. Uninstall the mod.
5. Fire up the game [Some objects ... Keep loading ---> Yes], save, and exit.
6. Install version 4.
7. Check Load Order. Fire up the game. Return to the Midship Deck hallway. (You'll get a new key and note from Dr. Li.)
8. Enter the room and put away all your stuff.

Compatibility:
==========

This mod has minimal impact on the game world.
IDs of all new content are prefixed with 'A1RCR'.
All meshes and textures introduced by this mod are found in folders labeled 'CRM-A1RCR' in the Meshes and Textures folders.

No vanilla scripts, globals, quests, or game settings, etc. are touched.

This mod has been cleaned with FO3Edit and repeatedly checked with TESsnip. It is clean.

The only vanilla cell affected by this mod is 'Midship Deck' [ID: RCHangarDeckMid].
One hallway piece replaced.
One concrete highway divider removed.
One door added.
One doormarker added.
One TriggerBox added.

Should be compatible with any and all mods that do not make very extensive changes to the above cell.

One new cell added: 'Midship Deck Room' [ID: RCHangarDeckMidRoom]

Compatible with Alystin / Rivet City Realignment v5.2.
