   And if they did just reuse a texture? Why make something more complicated than it needs to be? The end result is the same.

   well you should of taken the Undead dog from the elder scrolls: Oblivion: the shivering isles and converted it to FO3. It would look much better

   I have no doubts some talented texture artists (possibly new meshes, who knows) will make several breeds availible in the near future.
