Ran into a small problem with this mod. Most of the time it works and I get my ten caps per bundle of cash but whenever I find a stack of 3 or more prewar Money in a cabinet or dresser or wherever I just get the money added to my misc list instead of being converted so I have to drop them then pick them up one by one to get the caps. Otherwise the mod is great and finally gives a use to the bundles of prewar cash lying everywhere! I had honestly thought they would have incorporated the prewar money to be used for gambling in New Vegas...maybe something to consider looking into!
Hey, thanks for taking time to comment Maybe you guys are right, this mod is too small and some kind of cheating. The idea was that the paper money could be used as a currency too, because it is kind of rare. I should have balanced it more, and included it in a larger mod. I'm still learning to make mods, and this was a good lesson. Thanks for the feedback!
I like the idea to this mod but it seems to be such a small change it isnt worth using , but thats just my opinion and i can see that this is useful to other people. Good job.
Also, i agree maybe a collector might be a better idea, i think it could be a cool miniquest to talk to some pre-war obssesed dude dressed like lincoln who would pay 20 for prewar money.
I can't seem to get this to work, but I'm thinking is becuase FWE changes aspects of Prewar money by making it have weight. Will keep you updated, I like the concept, but I agree with Fallout13 in as maybe make a "banker" style character for the exchange.
@Fallout13, I've given you Kudos. Your comments is EXACTLY what I haven't seen lately in as constructive thought out criticism without the complaning, and general groaning I've seen lately. Thank you for having class!
With ALL due respect. Please consider my comments as simple, friendly criticism. Pre-war currency found in stacks is already a 'valued' commodity. Your mod is simply taking the roleplay out of exchanging the cash bundle for caps at an exchange location and perhaps 'cheating' the barter system. Please do NOT be disheartened in ANY way. There is plenty of things that can be improved and I look forward to your next project. Best of luck.
