@ghsmith, please download the latest version - if you look at the change notes and the previous comment by polluxval this was already reported and fixed. I'm sorry for the problems it gave you.
The script was originally set to give a message when you consume the Twinkies, but I couldn't work it out so I took it out in the current file.
@u1stplease - A lot of people don't like to replace items that are in the original game. If you're interested, I suppose I could upload an alternate that does so?
Two issues you might want to know about. When I tried using the post-war Twinkies I got a red exclamation mark in the bar of Tenpenny Tower, and in one of the apartments upstairs. This was the first time I had found the Twinkies anywhere in the game. I first went through the labourious process of disabling all my 132 mods, and reactivating them one at a time until the problem reproduced itself. Since Twinkies was the last mod I installed, and I hadn't had any problems prior to that, I left it until dead last. Sure enough as soon as I activated the esp, the exclamation marks showed up. The mesh and texture files were both installed right where they needed to be. However, inside the post-war Twinkies esp file, most of the references to the mesh file and texture file are to twinkiebox.nif and twinkiebox.dds, not twinkieboxfaded.nif or twinkieboxfade.dds and there are two references to twinkiesboxeated. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.Anyway, I tried the pre-war Twinkies, and they work perfectly, no exclamation marks anywhere. There is, however, a minor issue with both versions, and it is a very minor, almost insignificant issue. With Twinkies activated, either post-war or pre-war, the cursor does not appear on the first start up screen at all. For some reason it is delayed until the screen scrolls to the second screen, then the cursor appears, and I can get to the menu and start the game, select a save, etc. Again, I have double checked, and this only happens when Twinkies, either version, is activated. With the other 131 mods the cursor shows up as soon as the first screen appears, it isn't until I add Twinkies. As I said, a small annoyance.
Thanks for the info polluxval, I'll fix it when I get home in a few hours.
The for the UI pipboy image I used a sweetroll - but now that you mention it, I didn't pack that in the files. I should've completely removed the mod from my computer and installed it as you would have to test it first.
Sorry for the problems - my first mod, and lessons learned, so hope you'll forgive me.

I figured this out when I started getting bonuses of 0 instead of 5, and the bobbleheads wouldn't go into my inventory.
