    What do you mean by 'breaking the GREETING function. You can define whatever GREETING you want for particular character ? Just need to set the condition properly, and make sure random flag is not set. If you need more info let me know.

      See, all the greetings available in the game are in English. If I set this guy to use Chinese, you'll be able to talk to him but he won't say anything and if I remember correctly there will be no dialogue choices.

      As far as I understand, there is no such thing as 'available GREETING". You need a sound clip (OGG or WAV), you need to write a subtitle text and you need to add a GREETING topics. If I was trying to do that, I'd extract appropriate OGG and LIP file from BSA archive. Then I'd go to companion quest, add a GREETING topis. I'd write a GREETING text, and set up a condition, like

      GetIiID == KuanLeeID (or whichever ID is)

      It means that particular greeting is for Kuan Lee only. No other NPC will ever use it. Dialog editor will generate an DialogID string, which you must use as a OGG and LIP file name.

      I don't know how much do you know about making dialogs, so this might be too fast, and we can go slower if you want. I wouldn't want to bother you with something you already know. The bottom line is that all you need is appropriate OGG and LIP file. And, whatever you do, DON'T override existing quests like 'Generic' or 'GenericAdult'. It will byte you in the ass for sure.

      Dialog editor is a bit strange concept, but once you got a grip, it's easy. I have made my last fully voiced companion in less then hour, and it has custom, unique GREETING, indeed.

      Also, I'd recommend to make it a standalone companion, not RR. As I said it is easy. Why having RR dependency ?

      Man I made this mod three years ago, MAYBE I can remake it from scratch with no dependencies. See, the real problem is that there's set pre-recorded Chinese dialogue for NPCs like the Chinese Remnants, but that dialogue set has no greeting function.

      You man, none of the phrases spoken is greeting ? Well, you know better. I don't know a single Chinese word, on any of their languages , and I didn't read the subtitles.

      I am looking for a rifle mod. A classic rifle with wooden furniture. M1903 Springfield and K98 Mauser mods are gone. Mosin Nagant is still on Nexus, but it has a scope. Do you happen to know any such mod which I could use ?

    Mod caused an immediate CTD on loading - why? - Because it requires (an undisclosed in your notes) 'Toads Males ESM' your are no orphan in this regard, Ihave seen files uploaded and saves that have dependancies of more than 20 undisclosed esp's and esm'. It is a simple matter to check files with Wrye Bash loader for dependancies. The Wrye FO3 tool is not as advanced as the "oblivion version" but will reliably list what addins are required to support files being uploaded.
