Could you release this as a simple mesh/texture replacement for the standard trucks, as I would love to see this all over the wasteland instead of those wussy flatbeds that were in vanilla FO3.

why don't you make a german Halftrack with your choice of a Flamethrower, a Gatling Laser, A rocket launcher, a mortar, or a minigun as a mounted weapon. just a suggestion.

    Alrighty, so!

I am -definitely- watching this, now, to see how it progresses. I love the idea of more military vehicles and the like for Fallout 3. Personally, I wish someone would make a few more Naval vessels while they were at it... but what you have here, Chuck... it's exactly what the Good Doctor ordered.

    On another note:

Drinking is always a good way to spend a birthday... and I fully intend to do so myself when mine rolls around in January.

Ok I've sobered up a little, now that the B-day and, the 4th of july holidays, are over. <img class=">

This week in modding won't be to productive for me (I have a lot on my plate,) but, I'm hoping to upload the quad mini-gun halftrack and a (by request.) mobile SAM missile truck by the end of next week. I'm also considering doing some Operation Anchorage variants, if there is a demand. They would have of course, A OA requirement, to not break any copy-write laws.

(I wouldn't want to become one of those people, who risk getting themselves band, over stupid SH**! <img class="> )

    @shubniggurath

Thanks, for the Happy birthday, I really wasn't trying to solicit that type of response. I simply was trying to explain why if I've gotten incoherent in my post. I started to feel all I was typing was sal;dfjasdjfaskdlfjkdfjsfdjsajfjfaksfjdjotiout, illiterate babble.

my bad, I came in from a long night and, my moron A**, thought it was a good idea to reply to several posts. <img class=">

thanks for not just saying your a idiot. <img class="> and being done with me.

    I hope you've had a happy birthday.
I downloaded you resource and will make use of it. I always searched for something like this - new vehicles that fit into the game and are not too modern.

As soon as i update my mod you can read your name in the credits section.

Have a good day and much fun with blender. We all provit from it

    Greetings,
    Shubniggurath.

    Btw heres and idea

When you create the Half Track with the AA gun on it..

Split the AA gun and the truck into two separate pieces... Because then the modder or user of the truck can alter the position of the gun in geck, and all the AA half tracks wouldnt look the same ^^,

Just a thought, PLUS then you can aswell build stationary AA guns easier

    OOrrr build truck AAs easier

Anyways just an idea i was bouncing out there ^^

Love your work keep it up

Love the idea I'm still working on the the AA gun I may keep a separate mesh that people could alter to there tastes. I'm still working on the blast shield and armor for the AA gun.

Very good work - this one is definitely on my watch list! I have often wondered why there was such a limited vehicle variety in FO3 - I imagine because it would be a ton of work. If I had a clue how to do it myself I would add beat up old Sherman tanks (like on the flame thrower recipe book), Willys Jeeps, ton and a halfs (weapons carriers) and paddy wagons (ambulances).

    Keep up the good fight!

I've ben wanting to have Sherman's in the game myself! people say power armor killed the need for real armor, no! Power armor can't carry a 88mm gun! Tanks would still exist! ( the GERMAN 88mm dominated the battlefield!) We're talking about real warfare hear.

a really good idea to add something clearly missed in vanilla FO3, my humble suggestion for some 50's period additions would be something like a M75 or M59 APC, and one of the earlier patton series tanks, maybe something a little exotic like a M50 Ontos or something totally nuts like a davey crockett nuclear launcer mounted on your halftrack which would fit perfectly with the FO3 genre

I'm trying, I'm still learning blender and nifscope but, I don't want to bring in another damn F1 Abrams or a Bradley APC.

Lastly, I'm drinkng my A** off, tonight is my 39th birthday!

    sorry if I'm being a dumb drunk. <img class=">

Marveolous idea but its clearly the aircraft is very small to be in the truck.Turn them huge ,when i say that is to make simillar to the normal size of the gun.
I know u´re putt it a lot of miniguns but is nice your idea but make them big.
