Early 2023 review: Not a bad new unmarked quest with one new dungeon. I must say that interior cell of Enclave bunker looks more like a multi-layered basement building in first section rather then more standard Enclave facilities like Raven Rock. Don't expect many gunfights, but more loot than you'd have ever found in many other journeys in the Wasteland. Some new unique weapon types are also pretty cool and can help dealing with extremely tough enemies from other modifications which increase spawn rates of mobs. Also you can recruit new companion that has interesting little background story which feels somewhat immersive in Fallout universe. No critical bugs or conflicts encountered. Overall, not the best dungeon-type mod on Nexus, but decent little adventure to acquire exotic variants of vanilla weapons. Should you try this mod in 2023? If you want to clear another dungeon and try new weapons on Enclave troops, yep, it'd be a good choice for additional 20-30 minutes of your playthrough. Endorsement from me.
Yet another great mod that went on for 7 years without a comment, but let's rectify that injustice right now So it's great work, with nicely designed exteriors and interiors, the atmosphere (you begin by investigating a crashed-down vertibird...), the story - and some awesome crazily overpowered weapons. Works perfectly, not a single glitch. Endorsed!
Thanks for this, I really enjoyed it. The base is really well-sized, and there weren't too many enemies. The companion I found actually took me by surprise, I didn't realize you included one in this mod. As for the weapons, most of them I liked, ESPECIALLY the new Missile Launcher and Minigun. I never found a good enough reason to use either until I found these custom versions, so now I've got stockpiles of ammo to waste. I didn't like the Nuka-Cola Nuke Grenade -- it seemed a little cheesy since, as far as I can tell, it's basically just a nuke being fired from a fat-man, except in grenade form. Still fun blowing up all of those Fairfax Raiders though
Note that the journey begins at the Vertibird, not that the armory itself is there. If you investigate the area you can find a breifcase which details your next location to go to, the Armory.
(Full-blown Answer: North-East of Andale is a mountain which is poplulated by Enclave, search that area.)
I am glad that you were able to find it, and I hope you have a good time with the mod. As for the companion I think that he restores health slowly like other companions of Fallout 3 (quickly if you wait) though you would have to ask Omegaspectre to be sure.
I downloaded your latest version of The Armory and found "The Site", but cannot find any clues as to the location of the base or find the base itself in that area. Any hints?
I intended to have a quest but dropped the idea. You can find your starting point south-east of Rivet City. There is a location on your map named "Site" I believe. I forgot to add that bit in the description.
