With the deadite army defeated and the Necronomicon secured, the wisemen are able to concoct a sleeping potion which would allow Ash to return to his own time. As luck (or fate?!) would have it, Ash unwittingly drinks one drop too many - awakening to find himself in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by nuclear war...
