I doubt he'll port it since this mod is 12 years old, so hopefully he'll give some modder permission to port it. Anyone can port it, but its considered extremely disrespectful without permission. Would be great if Uchua updated it with new features and ported it to TTW, like Rebuild the Captol. That modder made the TTW version the primary one after he ported it over.
I made a lightweight, stripped down version of this mod for TTW to be compatible with landscape edits. No added interiors/exterior buildings or fencing, just the guards and the turrets/new main gate. Sadly, Uchua hasn't been on Nexus in two years, so it's pretty unlikely he/she will be around to grant permission for me to upload.
Good Idea! I always thought at least a trader would make sense here as its a bit harsh to have to turn back with a full load of loot and they never explain how they get supplied... I was wondering how hard it would be to add a small quest that makes you a member of the community and convince the others to vote for you? I thought it would be neat to steal the title of president from Dave and have the others refer to you as such while Dave goes into shovel brahmin sh*t mode... After you become president the changes (you) made to the settlement the become available (through dialog with Rosie) by spending caps... After the settlement is fully upgraded the citizens refer to you as a hero or whatever the base game voice dialogs will allow... Then to really rub Dave's nose in it, I thought it would be funny If his wife's at least try to marry the player ?! After the mission plays out it would be nice to be able to ask the citizen's to follow you as a companion... I'd try to do this myself but I cant figure out how to navigate the dialog and script area of the GECK or place world objects and the tutorials are hard to see what they are clicking and often don't explain how to get to certain area's. I can change Item stats and character face and hair but the dialog and script section wont seem to let me do anything or even let me see all the dialog options. I have EZ companions installed but it only shows you how to add new npc's and not alter existing ones without goofing their quest. Anyhow if nobody thinks this is a fun Idea and would like to make this can you give me some pointers on how I can? Also is this compatible with the Gary War mod?
I should have installed this one long time ago! Finally there's some security in that place, and the front gate is not guarded any more only by a little girl I don't really know at this point how to enter some of the new houses (legally) but that's quite irrelevant. Recommended!
I would love to see a New Republic of Dave Mod For When After Rosie Wins The Election. And a mission were he asks for help fighting of a pack of Gary's
