"The armor is in the room TD is in". Well he's sitting in quite a few rooms and none of them have nothing that resembles an armor. All containers, fridges and toolboxes are all marked red which means taking anything from them is regarded as stealing. Looking is okay, of course but an indication as to the exact spot the armor should be would be welcome.
Found the right box thanks to frenzyslave. The box is a few paces to the right from the door that makes you enter the GNR Studio atop the stairs that has all the Brotherhood members hanging around. But I had to use the console to make the box my property, otherwise I would lose karma for stealing.
Open the console when standing in front of the box and click the box so that its I.D. number appears atop the console screen. Then type "setownership" without the quotation marks, hit enter and close the console. The box will now appear green and the items inside can be taken without stealing.
I have an unusual problem, I just did the quest that takes me into the simulator to save dad. when I came out, my pip boy was messed up (I am using the pip boy 2500 mod) I fixed it but my armor pad on my left arm is still missing as if the pip boy was still there. any suggestions how to fix this. I removed both mods completely and reinstalled them, but the problem still exists.

Right next to the door you entered into the GNR room from. In the metal crate.

I had no problems dowloading it. Must of been an off-day with the nexus site or something.
