An honest effort and the music is great - a nice collection of golden oldies. However, I hope you accept constructive criticism when I say it could do with a far more professional voice actor. It would've probably been better to recycle various Mr Handy or other voice files, or failing that have no voice. I'm terribly sorry to say this but the voice files as-is are simply too unprofessional for me to bear listening too.
The voice acting in the mod is splendid. Tons of quips in between songs that makes you feel like you're actually listening to a radio station. Very nice playlist as well.
The mod wouldn't have 425 endorsements as of the time of this comment if it was "unprofessional" sounding.
am i right in thinking this is the FO3 equivalent to Wave Radio for FNV? i ask because the name of the host is the same as mentioned by Blake in Wave Radio
Early 2023 review: First of all, some words not about the mod itself. I see that some people like streetyson in this (and other mods also) section like to use words "constructive criticism" when in reality his idea is basically soulless and doesn't include anything "constructive". He just throw his subjective preference without any valid argument - why is it constructive in the first place? Because only he thought that voice records are "unprofessional". Yes, the quality of audio and DJ is somewhat amateur but is it really a valid criticism in the Fallout universe, where scarcity of good audio technology is everywhere? For myself voice and charisma of mod author in radio logs is like a better version of Travis from Fallout 4. I hear the work of passion and sincere wish to improve player experience in this DLC by providing lore-friendly radio. He has backstory, light humour (not goofy, but not cheeky at the same time) and seems like a good option for hosting Point Lookout radio station. Aside from nice list of new music, I must assure potential users that you will also get little interactions from radio hoster. He mentions Lone Wanderer in Point Lookout, read "letters to studio" and will reveal more about himself from many immersive radio logs. On technical side of things, some voice lines are a bit quieter than others, but that's a minor issue which you can fix by just adjusting volume of radio in options when you listening to Point Radio. Point Radio isn't another "radio station" mod on Nexus, it's impressive work and real love letter from talented creator. And I'm glad that Point Lookout finally found it's voice. Should you try this mod in 2023? Absolutely, Point Lookout will never feel the same and it's good. Works best in pack for new experience with mods like "Stories From Point Lookout" and "Point Lookout Reborn". Endorse and want to wish author all best in his future projects if he ever will decide to create mods again.
Finally find Blake's (from WAVE Radio - FONV) brother Butler. Psyched to try this!!! Installed (A bit complicated for me, as I am a computer IDIOT - it takes me SEVERAL tries to re-install WAVE Radio...) and working on the first try! Those READ ME files can really be useful... ;)
Too bad I can't endorse this (Nexus says I haven't downloaded it...) and try to move it up in the mod lists. Great job! More people should try this mod!!!
Addendum: This is FANTASTIC!!! The best (extant) radio station mod I have found for either FO3 or FNV. Simply amazing station content - music, radio dramas and DJ. Other than a slight audio glitch (garbled best describes it) when going through doors, this is well-nigh perfect. And I may have remedied the audio glitch with an automatic merged patch (w/ FO3Edit). If so, we may be looking at perfection!ENDORSED!!!! (Though sadly, only once...)
Excellent radio! I usually play without a radio turned on, but this one I left almost always on while in Point Lookout and enjoyed every second, as it really adds excellent to the overall atmosphere of the place.

(I wasn't able to find about 3-4 songs from the list in description)

As a modern Gen Z person would say since I'm not a Gen Z from 2010->2022.
"Cope with it"
