Well the way a double barrel works in real life is that there are two triggers. If you pull the first trigger it shoots the left barrels shell, and if you pull the 2nd trigger, the right barrel shoots. What the character in fallout is doing, he is giving "both barrels", in other words he is pulling his finger back all the way and pulling both triggers. But in these mods, your character just pulls a single trigger each time.

The Double Barrel Shotgun fires TWO shotgun shells. How exactly would it fire out of both barrels and yet use ONE shell?
