This is the same as Megaton Walkaway, but I guess it will have the same problems: a) weird navmeshing causes NPC's to get stuck b) no Megaton House and thee overhaul...
What a thoughtful idea! This is one of those seemingly small quality-of-life increases that actually saves TONS of time and tedious running around Megaton.
The walkway is designed well and fits in seamlessly with the town's look. I'd wager that a first-time player who started the game with this installed wouldn't even be able to tell that the bridge is a mod.
Great improvement, a must-have for players who live Megaton. Once you add it, you'll never want to play without it.
Don't download this mod.... it may seem like a harmless mod but acutally it cuts off Lucas Simms path causing him to freeze in place and eventually teleport out of megaton and die. I have also seen a few other npcs die from the use of this mod. I went through 5 playthroughs and within the first day of the game many npcs had died and I had seen how. Just a warning this mod isn't as harmless as you think.
there's nothing wrong with the idea of this mod, but youre taking kind of a circuitous route, I mean you run down the hill and up the ramp that runs over the clinic, and it takes you right to the supply. craterside is like the easiest place to get to from your house.
Would you believe I still get lost in Megaton on like my third playtrough? Everything is brown, everything is jutting out of a craterside at a jaunty angle, the signposts just give vague general directions and the only shop with a good illuminated sign is the useless ground-level food stall. I have to look at the bomb to even figure out my way out of town.
