It doesn't get rid of EVE piles or any of the vanilla ash or goo piles either. I've tried fast traveling far away and then coming back and it doesn't seem to do anything so far.
I was wondering, if could do something about the following original Eve problem. Sometimes i can pic up tokens from dead bodies, e.g. a fire token. They have of course no pipboy image.
Did that once before it took effect. Damned think cooked me.
Maybe some other mod cause a conflict. Do you make a merged patch (using FO3Edit) regulary? Also, do you use the MasterUpdate Mode? (renaming FO3Edit.exe in FO3MasterUpdate.exe)
Check your load order to avoid conflicts between mods, maybe FOIP will be a great help in this.
If this does not help you, i suggest to do a clean reinstall of EVE: disable EVE, start the game and make a save from the menu(not a rapid save or an autosave) then exit the game, be sure to have the latest update/hotfix of EVE, reinstall overwriting when asked and re-enable EVE. -
That's all i can do i think... if you still have problems try to ask at EVE's topic.
I dunno how to set them non-playable (even not checked how to fix) i just avoid to pick'em up, maybe i'll look into it but i have very short time to dedicate at modding and also i'm not a great modder
Hope i help you in some way, feel free to PM or whatever if you need.

Now sometimes i see exclamation marks on dead bodies if killed by energy weapons and i believe them to be these tokens. They obviously "want for" an graphical representation where of course there can't be none. It doesn't happen to often, but still it bothers me, because the tokens can not be remove via console, since browsing the screen does not let you find the tokens.

Hmm, not exactly the right place to ask but ill try to help you with some "must to do" steps.
Do you have ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated? FOMM already has it, just click Toggle invalidation. Also if you dont use FOMM i strongly recomend it.
Do you use the latest release of FOSE? [Edit] Sorry EVE does not requires FOSE at all.
