Too many of the features that you mention in the description are broken. I've been using this mod for more than a month now and some problems that are still occurring for me: doctors can't heal my addictions, stimpaks don't heal limbs, and the effects on the status menu in the Pipboy aren't the effects that are actually taking place. If you can address these problems, I'd be happy to give the mod another shot, but until then, I'm moving on to something a bit more functional. Thanks anyway.

Mod abandoned. Last update was in 2009.

I love the Stimpak effect. It prevents the "have enough stimpaks, survive any fight" effect of higher levels. Higher levels are still easy, but, a bit more challenging and realistic now!

One suggestion: nerf the Fast Metabolism perk, perhaps? Instead of doubling HP gained per second, maybe only increase it by 50%, though maybe that's not possible with the values you've chosen.

You should add more realistic names other than just 'Morphine'

    Buffout - Steriods
    Psycho - Heroin
    etc etc

Sorry it took me so long to fix the Rad-X issue, however I finally fixed it today by removing the addiction properties. Also I noticed when I was addicted to Morphine it was say "Addicted to Med-X" so I fixed that too.

I tested everything extensively and the mod works perfect now.

Going to try this out soon...

One thing I'm wondering, can you make it so it only recognizes one stim at a time, instead of being able to stack them?

klinsek: found the "fix" for the Rad-X. Un-check realistic chems from the FOMM, load your game and play. About three minutes later, I received the message that Rad-X had worn off, I then didn't go into addiction penalties, saved the game, and restarted with realistic chems checked again...worked just fine.

BTW forgot to mention that when I detoxed, I was also addicted to Buffout and Jet, and those were removed as per usual, so it appears the issue is with Rad-X only.

dethpugg: I suffer from the same issue with Rad-X addiction.

There doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of it. I've had to sadly use cheats to keep my Rad-X in good supply to sustain my habit. It's rather annoying.

I also still suffer from the bug where you can't heal crippled limbs with stims. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Bleh.

Thanks for the mod! Find it adds complexity to my weight-bearing limit issues (what to carry, oh, what to carry...)...I have found an issue however as I've become addicted to Rad-X, and cannot get rid of the addiction! I used my home lab to detox, got the happy "you're detoxified" message, then found I was still addicted to Rad-X...to make matters worse, tried the doc in Megaton to remove the addiction, found I had no "I'm addicted" dialogue option to use...so I'm apparently stuck at the moment.

Not sure if it was the circumstance (using the lab, not a person) or not...anyone else had this happen?

No, you would need a food mod that heals gradually as well. I made one I use for myself but never released it to the public. If you would like that one I can send it to ya, in my opinion it goes great with the healing over time Chem mod.

hmm this is cool how the stimpacks heal gradually, but that can be offset by just consuming food in near death situations... is there a way to make all healing items have a global value for healing slower?
