WARNING: This mod, at least for me, caused EXTREME fps drops (like under 10 most of the time), i'm not sure why. If your game is lagging terribly DISABLE THIS FIRST TO SEE IF ITS THE PROBLEM
brother y love this mod, but in the beguining mi game crash, near the plase you put the vengance and wanda rifle (sorry for mi english) please help me XnX D:
I see the vertibird, floating off in the sky in the distance, but the thing itself doesn't move at all towards the citadel.
Now, I know this is meant to happen after the MQ, but I was hoping there would be someway to go there even if you haven't done it? I would really like to experience this mod, but I don't really want to do the main quest.
This may be the best mod I've EVER played, not just Fallout 3. The non-stop fighting made me really realize what a long slog war must be like for a ground-pounder. Then, it started feeling like a metaphysical take on war, like somewhere there is an unending war going on on "a darkling plain, where ignorant armies clash by night."
The title I assume came from Star Trek, and at the end it felt like an award-winning episode about the horrors of war. If you ever come back and read these words, know that you deeply touched at least one gamer and for that, I salute you.
This was promissing, but it was dissapointing and buggy. Technicaly the mapping is not bad, but needs a lot of overhaul and bugfixing. The main issue is, this is not Fallout. Looks like, but is not.
First of all: Do not activate this mod before you finished all vanilla content and the good must have quest/mods. Make a save before trying this. This mod ruins the entire game! At least this is a cheater mod with a some fighting - nearly all medkit have tons of stimpaks (50-100) and the COTEF - ammo boxes and lockers have tons of ammo and weappons - overwriting original content e.g. Vertibirds are indestructable
what else: You get 3 unique cheating weapons with absurd values - and they are not configured correctly Invisible walls everywhere, but also clipping walls and gaps where the map ends. The action starts in front of citadel (Vertibird) and is ultra-linear. Your will miss nothing. ;-) The game crashes randomly to desktop especialy in some areas. The framerate in the city and the end of industrial sector goes to zero as further you go. At least I was stuck and the only way to proceed was the console command "killall". :-( Game crashes on using energy weapons again and again, also randomly. :-( If you want a challenge "like this" with smoth framerates play the endlevel of FarCry! (As I wrote, COTEF is not Fallout.) Of course it is fun to have some heavy fights, but not this buggy way.
It is a matter of concept, not the skill to build a map. First spawning hundreds of monsters/enemies and then giving the player a cheat weapon to kill them? What is that? And you can not make (buggy) terrain maps such big!
i discoverd that this mod modifys every medical container that is already placed in world of fallout 3 putting anywhere from 50-100 stimpacks in everyone also it puts the COTEF note in everyone of them toois there any fixes ? out of curiosity
