     This idea isn't terrible but besides the major problem pointed out by MrDeathKill where this doesn't make the AI search for you anyway, another issue is that this breaks stealth killing completely, and multiple quests in the game require you to kill an NPC that lives inside a town stealthily, with this mod the entire town is ALWAYS alerted no matter what essentially making this mod somewhat game breaking.
     I would have still used this mod if it was not for that point, it's a shame.
     So yeah, heads up to anybody is still looking at this in 2022+ lmao

    raiders all come rushing in to the exact same spot their first buddy was killed...
    making it damn easy to pick 10 raiders off in a row with a sniper...

    it's actually really stupid, the scripting routine should actually account for this behaviour and
    the raiders should go searching for you instead of running to their buddy's dead body..

    this is actually a must-not-have

      I've yet to try this mod, but if you think about it... what you say may be unrealistic or stupid on its own. HOWEVER, it would seem to me that being completely oblivious to someone being killed right next to you is even more unrealistic than having them all rush to the body. So six of one, half a dozen of the other, I would have to agree that this mod is rather useless, but If this is how the game worked to begin with, I'd be fine with it.

      in NV i sneak insta killed a couple of powder gangers and not ONE moved they were still saying hi to me as if nothing happened. now THAT is stupid . also is normal for everyone to crowd around a body. you see it in movies a lot.

      Movies are not really representative of reality, most often they are fiction, even inspired by a real story or facts. How many errors I've seen in movies that are exactly the opposite of reality... But this isn't the subject here.

      If the body in question is supposed to be on the ground because of a sniper shot; normaly...most of the humans nearby should take cover and search for the origin of the shot, to avoid the danger. The last thing to do is crowding around a body which would make more victims soon.

      Of course it's not the case in the real life when you're at the supermarket, but in Fallout you're at war with almost everything that lives in the wasteland. So if there's a body on the ground, no need to crowd around and call the 911, just protect yourself quickly and search the killer. That's what raiders should do if they want to stay alive

    Suggestions

    Idea 1
    PC is sneaking and headshot a foe - Check Npc Perception (spot NOT) -- Action "take cover/retreat"
    PC is sneaking and headshot a foe - Check Npc Perception (spot YES) -- Action "charge/cover and shoot back"

    Idea 2
    PC silently kills a foe (no other npc around) - NPC comes by and spots the dead foe - NPC enter sneak(or wield guns if not sneaker) and scans the area looking for the PC

      hey..sneaking is never used by npc not sure why ..but is used by companions when they imitate you. the sneaking logic is there but not really implemented. ai is complicated enough and having tricky things like that require scripting making the game slow. even if you make them sneak they go out of sneak . they don't sneak on you like a lion would do for example a gazelle. is all handled by the engine. but the first part is doable. is really easy. say npc.getDetected player yes = seen him go into action mode no but seen heart a gun shot saw a dead body is gonna look for the player for a while ...

    A mod concept interesting. Unfortunately, I was forced to uninstall it due to lag and inexplicable FPS slowdown that occurred to me.
    Yet I have a very good setup (CGU, CPU, RAM, SSD ...).

    For information: I use the mod "more raiders."
    If there is a specific setting ...

    Fantastic mod!!! Does anyone know if the idea of "responsive kill reactions" is represented in Fallout New Vegas in any mod? Does the "exprimental AI detection" in Project Nevada for example do this?
