I'm currently in the process of re-balancing this weapon's stats. This gun has too high a rate of fire for the damage it is doing. I will fix it and update soon.
EDIT: All done and uploaded. Stats fixed in Version 1.3.
Hei, would you give permission to include your pioneer texture in FOOK2? We are looking for a unique retexture for the Microwave emmiter, and yours is, perfect: No more a "Subliminal Penetrance Level" indicator on a microwave emmiter!
I've been having some issues with the texture for the weapon, it doesn't display right when I draw it, it changes to match my clothes. Looks correct in the CS, which I'm guessing was the ground file, but would it not having a first person model on it cause this? It doesn't have one assigned in the 11 version.
Probably some other mod. The weapon uses vanilla effects from the alien blaster and mirelurk king. There isn't anything that I used that isn't in the game already. Other than the texture and model, which are just modified from the mesmetron.
I'm having a bit of trouble with it. Every time I fire the gun it lags for a second or two and then fires. Eventually after shooting it enough my game will crash. My specs are above and beyond what's required.
Any idea what's botching it up? Only other weapon mod running is the M88 Gauss Rifle.
I didn't download it because I'm using very few mods at the moment as I'm still on my first play-through of the game. When I restart with a second character is when I'm going to load up with lots of mods. "> I didn't know the download included a readme with more information.

It would be cool if weapons could use more than one skill at the same time, like energy and science. Or big guns and energy (for the gattling laser, etc).
It uses science skill exclusively, like the readme says. It has a sonic projectile effect not seen on any other weapon. Everything is blue, impact effects, ash piles, projectiles.
I really like the concept, but I'd like to know its statistics. How much damage does it do? What skills does it use? Does it just use science skill, or does it also use energy weapon skill? What does it look like when you zap someone, is it a normal red laser effect (since you say it turns people into ash piles), or does it have its own unique colour?

So it's really not broken. I haven't worked on the .esp file since early November 2008.
I'm aware of how to do it "correctly", perhaps in the future I will "fix" it.
I don't know what could be causing your trouble.
Maybe add the texture for the weapon in your archiveinvalidation file. I have it working for me in game just the way it is the zip file for 1.1.
If you are opening this with the CS it might be messing the mod up, I didn't use the CS to make this weapon.
