hey man i would really like the black hawk to be unscoped it would be great if you'd do that... and i really hate that ugly scope! xD i'm happy to have this mod thanks.
I've started updated my old F3 mods at long last... thanks heaps to all who've commented and emailed about them!
I've totally redone this in the GECK now (at last), and decided that the best way to go (to avoid conflicts with other mods) was simply to have the unscoped Magnums (which should be MUCH more common than the scoped versions) replace all the "generic" Magnums you find laying around in the game, in shops, and on NPCs. With this mod now, the original scoped versions ARE still out there, but they'll only turn up with the optional "Loot List" plugin (again, to avoid conflicts) and can then be found RARELY in stores and random containers.
I'd appreciate folks letting me know how this works for them, and if scoped Magnums are now TOO rare... if so, I'll add them into the worldspace in a few places as well.
Elanthil01: I know it's probably too late, but the only thing I've made graphically (now) is the icon... the unscoped Magnum model is actually already in the game, just unused (except for the Mysterious Stranger's uber-magnum).
PattonLives: if you're still interested, let me know and I'll do a scopeless version of the Blackhawk as an option if you still want one.
UPDATED! Hopefully fixed the problem of the gun not dropping... let me know if it doesn't work, though.

EDIT: If you downloaded in the last few minutes, please do so again... I fixed a tiny problem with the fire animation that was the result of uploading the wrong (slightly older) file. Now the download is the "proper" v1.2.
Okay, sorry I didn't give a more coherent report last night, anyway, it seems that the game launches fine and runs, but the first raider I've encountered with an unscoped .44 won't drop it. He's dead, but it's not in his inventory. It's probably just a dropable flag that didn't get set for the gun...
