I gave this file it's well-earned endorsement, because it is just an awesome mod which does so much to immersion and how I experience the game world.
After a long time I am playing FO3 again and have a real blast with all the perfected mods out there now. And due to doing this now, I discovered, that Imp made a similar mod for Skyrim with compatibility patches for most of my favorite food- and hunting-related mods there as well. So now this will most likely enhance my immersion in Skyrim just the same as it currently does in fallout 3.
I just wish I would have discovered this mod a lot earlier - in both games. Finally it makes sense to keep an eye on what and how much I eat and drink. I like as well the effect of drug abuse on overall health with this mod. In earlier times, when I did not have this mod, I used to be a jet and psycho addict. This has changed since I am using IMCN.
Thank you for providing us with this highly immersive gameplay, Imp.
This makes the needs system feel realistic. Before I discovered this, and was just using FWE's needs system and my immersion would get broken when I would go for days only eating Fancy Lads Snack Cakes and be perfectly fine. Now, IMCN makes me watch what my character is eating, drinking, smoking, injecting, or what not. It makes me track down Crunchy Mutfruit (tons of nutrients relative to calories) and hunt Yao Guai for their meat (highest ratio of protein to calories that I've seen), so that I can always maintain my Carnivore, Lithe, and Paragon of Health buffs. It is a vast improvement over FWE's standard system. I also appreciate that it works with Ambient Temperature, which I was running as a purely immersion boosting mod.
I run it with FWE, MMM, EVE, WMK, xCalibr, 20thCW, and a ton of other mods (I run a little more than 200 mods), and the only problem I had was getting it to work with See You... It's Bedtime. I get it to play nicely with my various HUD affecting mods with Unified HUD.
Excellent, worked for me, with DarNified UI F3, FWE, Dynamic Crosshair, See You - Time for Bed, iHUD, aHUD, and uHUD. (For a short time anyway, before I did something that made the main menu disappear)
I had some HUD problems at first as well. I also took note that there was no 'IMCN - FOSE hotkeys.esp' as stated in the readme, but the keys worked for me without it.
First I got the DarNified UI F3 FWE fix. http://forums.bethsoft.com/?showtopic=1032080 Then I got this, and the patch and did the .ini edit. Then got DC custom style. Then I remembered to activate the HUD display using the hotkey (forgot at first) Then I set 'L' to move the HUD. At first I thought the HUD wasn't there, but after pressing the down key (not s) my screen zoomed out further and I was able to see it. It starts in the top left by default, so maybe try moving it to the right and down, in-case it started off of the screen. Also I've heard that typing into the console 'set fose to 1' helps.
If I were to make one suggestion it would be to make them all degrade slower. Every five minutes I need to drink. Will changing the speed of time in the game effect this?? Could I make the game time slower to reduce how often I need to eat and drink?
You don't know what desperation is until you're midway through a long underground encounter, tired, hungry, and wondering if you dare light a fire to cook that Molerat that just bit your ankle. A great mod for a second playthrough.
What an amazing mod. This adds exactly the kind of needs tracking I've been looking for. Thank you very much for writing this!
The only problem I'm having is that IMCN seems to overwrite FWE's much slower healing while sleeping. Right now I completely heal to full after a single hour of sleep even with the FWE compatibility patch installed. I have regeneration turned off in the in-game IMCN config--is there some other option I'm missing?
Edit: Ah, found it.
IMCN is apparently not preserving Primary Needs' sleep healing change, even though the pop-up appears and says that it does (I re-enabled Primary Needs and reset it to END and STR-based healing just to be sure, and then the PN disabled message popped up again). I do have the FWE compatibility esp installed. Is there something I'm missing?
I'm so disappointed I didn't pick this up earlier. What a great mod.
I have an issue with the high protein diet & carnivore bonuses. They don't seem to work. The penalties I've tested, and they work fine. But I can't get any bonuses from having a high protein diet. + 50% or +125%, i've got it up to 230% and still no bonuses. Is something wrong, or do they run in the background?

Masochistly realistic gaming at its finest!
Gives an extra toughness to the game but not tedious.

Great for the amount of work that was put into it. To much like Micro Management for my use though. :-)
Another great mod to enhance the game-play of a great game.
Great job here m8
