I've wanted to install and use this mod for some time, but all the reports of Karen attacking NPCs is keeping me from committing.
EDIT: Wait, I just realized, this mod most likely *requires* the "Sharing and Caring Companions" mod to be installed (hence the SCC part of the name). Although it's mentioned, it's not made 100% absolutely clear in the 'Installation' portion of the instructions and readme, and really should be. It also does not flag the Sharing and Caring Companions.esm as a Master file, so I am confused. I am seriously hesitant to install either SCC and/or this mod because of that reason, and of the many issues reported with SCC - i.e. causing faction problems and other companion mod conflicts.
I'm having same problem Druuler did. I'm using the latest version (essential version) and I just completed the Blood Ties quest. Went in to talk to Karen Schenzy, recruited her, came out and Evan King started pumping lead on me. He doesn't go hostile when this mod is enabled but only when Karen has been recruited. Also the other residents in Arefu go hostile as well.
I just downloaded both versions, and I'll get to testing one of them out soon. This character's story always seemed incomplete to me, so now it can be finished. She should be a good addition to the other two Arefu quest companions I have.
Ok well it took some doing, but I was able to recreate the problem where Evan and Karen would attack each other. I uploaded a correction that should fix it for both files. Give it a try.
hmm, installed this mod, did the quest to check on everyone and turned it in to make sure I was done with her. Went back and recruited her with SCC, came outside to leave and she attacks and kills King every time she sees him. Something is weird with her faction setting I think, don't know why she would be hostile with arefu.
Ok to add to that I recruited her, went out the door and quicktraveled so she woouldn't kill King. On the road I come upon a caravan, she kills them all. I go to the train station where "The Family" is to do the quest, she kills Murphy and his guard. I make it to the gate guard for the family, he attacks her on sight.
Kai200X, Thanks for the screen shots. You get a kudo for being the first to upload one. I have the file managment set to require my approvel on images before they can be viewed, so there will be a delay between the time you upload them and the time you see them here.
Sounds like you had an odd glich with the gang at Arefu. Truth be told, I removed Karen from there faction to avoid any conflicks. I can try to recreate it, but it sounds like a game glich (in a game thats full of gliches) to me.

She's very good! I don't know it's because the weapon she's using or not but she's very deadly now lol. Funny thing when I try to recuit her. I went to Arefu and the town's people were shooting up the place with that Alan guy who was sent by Vince. I don't really know what happened and after that King turned on me but I don't feel like killing him so I just grab Karen and ran away, or maybe she already killed him I dunno lol. Anyway, thanks again for the mod.

Mookeylama, Karen was unlisted as an NPC effected by Project Beauty. Even so, I did not change her face, hair or skin, so I can confidently say that this mod has no effect on Project Beauty or vise versa, they should be compatable.
olafreinhardweyer. I will look up Mr. Bukowski on the internet and see what he is all about. My writing style is based on my own brand of sarcastic humor more than anything else. Glad you like it.
Kai200X, It's the fact she doesn't belong in Arefu that drove me to make this mod. Without this mod, she is compleatly worthless as a fighter (house maid, petwalker or anything else for that matter). With this mod, you get a confident and compedent warrior to watch your back.
