A word of warning here. The optional download, "Grayditch Community" will conflict with many existing and popular mods. It essentially breaks some of the Generic dialogue in the game. A huge thumbs down because of this. Download with caution.

Confirmed. Sadly. I tested and while it seemed to work in itself ok, it stopped some other vendors' dialogues from triggering at all. Oh well.

very cool mod. i like the idea of expanding greyditch. can i suggest a few things.

a full lab would be great. no mod seems to allow for semi mass scale production of chems, fungus and fruit.

the fenced off area with blown up cars oposite the diner would make a neat little market square for a few traders. say 1 weapon, 1 chem, 1 food, 1 clothing and one bits and bobs merchant.

maybe have it so that unless you have completed teh quest those! people dont move in appart from the trader and his guard in the diner which they could give reference to when spoken to.

also, a terminal or somthing outside the gate oposite the diner would be nice so i can lock up when i go out.

i cant mod but if you need voices or sound fx in any way let me know.

otherwise, this is my new home!!

    Farce:

Odd, I also use Alex's pipboy-PDA, great isn't it? This mod does not activate the pipboy in any way. I keep my mod's active, I use them myself to sort of.. beta-test. I haven't ran into any of your issues of late.

And to be honest, I've had purple people issue before as well, and long before I started working on this mod.

    I'll look into it though. <img class=">

Not sure what your problem is, but you could try using
FO3 MasterUpdate. That always seems to help me with conflicting mods.

I want to endorse, but I can't. This mod causes errors with Alexscorpion's pipboy PDA mod somehow. Also, on occasion, NPCs appear purple, like they are missing a texture. This ONLY occurs when your mod is activated, I tested this. When they are deactivated, I have no problem. I even tried placing them high and low in the load order.

Look into what nemesis said about conflicts with the ESM. Obviously my PDA won't work if this mod is activating the normal pipboy and the two are fighting.

EDIT: This was with the latest version, 1.04

This mod is great. No super complex vault or silly gimmicks. Just a fortified realistic wasteland home with an ACTUAL armory inside =).
Anyone looking for a stable, working, realistic house mod that is being updated frequently needs to follow this.

    codepoet,

First, kudos for you on making this mod for Grayditch and keeping up with it! So many don't for various reasons.

I am disappointed that you are going to focus on the loaded "decorated" version. It just makes an easy game that much easier imho. Even if I sell the stuff, I would get a boatload of caps! I currently use Arwens mod to make the game at least somewhat of a challenge, so future versions of this may not work for me. I do have a suggestion. What if you develop the undecorated version and just have a 2nd esp just for the decorations? That way if anyone wants the extra stuff they can just pop in the esp. You would still be working on the one mod at that point.

One other thing, the door to the bedroom is awkward. You go up the stairs and it swings right into the pc's face. I would suggest to either remove it, or have it swing towards the wall.

Finally, I haven't tried the latest version, but the previous version needed some cleaning in FO3Edit. I found a lot of identical to masters etc..

All-in-all I give you much credit. This is a much needed ad-don for the game and I hope you continue to update and improve it into the future!

    Mahalo,
    Nemesis.

    Hello guys!

I have every intention on continuing this mod. I'll start on the roof tops tomorrow. I'm just now getting to understand NPC's and AI activity a bit more so better npc functionality will come as I get a little better.

Certainly want to tie Brian into some quest lines and interact with him more. I didn't think there was enough activity with him from the original quest line. Though I'm not sure how it will fully work out as I imagine there are a few that sent him to live at Little Lamplight.

Anyway, check back often for more content!

Thanks for all who downloaded and gave the mod a chance!

I'd love to see this continue, perhaps even a way to have Brian living there again if it becomes a community. Maybe even as a companion given he wanted to follow in the PC's footsteps.

Really like this home! Could you add a merchant outside, though? Someplace convenient for us to sell stuff. Maybe make him camp in the Diner.

EDIT: Woops! Didn't see you plan to add NPCs later.
