Grayditch Home


Originally intended to add a new player house only, but has started to expand in idea. The house itself is complete and fully playable. A Map Marker is in place, but you have to visit the location first. Travel to Grayditch, the house is just a few steps away. See Screenshots.

I've added a wire fence making a safe area, the gates should only be usable by Player Faction and Friends making a secure compound. The house itself has five rooms. I've beta tested many times, storage units are safe and do not respawn.

* Used GECK only resources.
* No known conflicts. Tested with most top-mods.

### 1.04 Update ###

Friday the 26th's update modifies and adds in a few requests as well as a various tweaks I wanted to make. I'm considering this a sort of 'Pre' Final, as the next update for the house will be substantial. I would, in the near future like to see the living room, bedroom and entrance room expanded.. maybe the bedroom too.

Certainly, when a larger community is developed I have plans to add a second room for your own followers. Possibly even a Black Smith room that will repair armour and work an ammo-press, assuming you have the steel ingots and caps to hire him.

As for now, I've added a few Idle Markers and changed the way the doors open. The armoury has been changed slightly expanding it in size on the X axis for extra manequin space. Added a few more ammo boxes and two new shelving units. Sandbags have been added outside the fences and players table.

Decorations And Theme Notes:
The house has been striped of decor/stock items in preparation of future themes. In the next update of the house all items besides a few essential furniture will be removed, and then re-added by a second theme file. By then, hopefully there will be a few different themes you'll be able to use.. picking only one of course.

Where I'd like to see this mod go..
Add-Ons:

Roof Navigation - Linking buildings to buildings using walk-ways ramps, etc.

House Themes - I intended to upload different versions of the common themes. Gore, Vault, Scientific, Prewar and Nuka-Cola. Perhaps others.

Sewer & Caves - Thinking of trying to make instances of creature and human enemy bases, rewarding with caps, special weapons and armour.

Increased Population - Turn the surrounding area into a small community, NPC's, shops and Quests. Perhaps companions in the future.

It's a lot of work, so it will be weeks between Add-on releases. Being in between jobs though has given me a lot of time to work on it!
