Whenever I fire a laser weapon my game crashes. Thats with EvE... I am about to remove EvE and try this mod instead. Is this mod compatible with Marts Mutant Mod? A laser turret in the area outside underworld killed a creature added by marts mutant mod and my game crashed....
im not using THIS mod but "eve", had the same bug tho(or the same effect at least) how i appearantly fixed it: i replaced meshes/weapons/1handpistol/laserpistol.nif and ""/""/2handrifle/laserrifle.nif with those from "blackened rh_ironsights_few_eve" but it worked with just deleting the nifs too, in that case vanilla ones get loaded
i believe the laser rifle and pistol .nifs from eve are fked smh, and some older "fixes" are probably based off of those files, thats the only thing that makes sense to me :D for example, the nifs from ironsights-eve bridge did not work, also crashed/froze the game. vanilla nifs and blackened nifs seem to be working, tho.
Idk bro, not even playing FO3 anymore. But i think imthesteve just said to uncheck the "EWE Load Order Fix.esp" file in the mod manager or simply delete it from the mod folder. Anyway this is a 2010 mod.. I think there is something that does the same thing but better today.
This mod really needs TTW compatability. i wish the mod author would return or someone else would take up the task, these are the best energy weapons in all of 3d fallout
HI, long time first time. In my setup plasma weapons are defeating enemies but, they survive turning invisible except in vats. usually its the gun and the gun hand at like 30% and all the other limbs are at 0%, This may be a FOOK2 problem although i can find nothing about it anywhere online....kinda sucks not being able to use plasma weapons as they're the best.If anyone still reads this thank you, love the mod.
Shame that this mod was abandoned a long time ago, as it still has much to offer. Admittedly it does take a bit of effort to get it working properly, my main issues were iron sights, which I never fully resolved but got to a stage where at least the majority of the weapons were usable with IS, and textures, particularly with the pulse rifle. Ultimately to resolve this I had to replace the meshes and textures included with this mod with those from the latest version of EVE, then I didn't have to suffer invisible glowing pulse rifle models anymore.
On the whole it's still a worthwhile mod and as long as you're prepared to put up with a few oddities and to put in some work to correct them, which is not unreasonable given that it's nine years old now.
