Black Surgical Mask V.1.1

== DESCRIPTION ==

A simple reskin of the vanilla Fallout 3 Surgical Mask wearable item. This simply adds a new item based on the vanilla Fallout 3 Surgical Mask item, with the changes consisting of a darker color and a different enchantment to better fit in with "stealth" themed gear. Goes well with various hoods and helmets.



== INSTALLATION ==

1) Unzip the Data folder from the zip archive to your Fallout 3 installation directory.

2) Enable the mod in the "Data Files" entry of the game's splash screen, or use FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) to the same effect. If you do not enable the .esp file this way, the mod will not work.

3) If you have not already done so, you must also edit a line in fallout.ini (found in My Documents\My Games\Fallout3) from this:

bInvalidateOlderFiles=0

To this:

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1


== UNINSTALLATION ==

To uninstall the mod, remove the following files from your Fallout 3 folders:

Data/textures/armour/headgear/blacksurgicalmask.dds

Data/textures/armour/headgear/blacksurgicalmask_n.dds

Data/meshes/armour/headgear/blacksurgicalmask.nif

Data/Black Surgical Mask.esm


== NOTES ==

The only current way of getting this item is adding it through the console with the following command:

player.additem 00f3E591 1

Additionally, placing the files "GiveBSMask", "GiveOutfit1.txt" and "GiveOutfit2.txt" into the Fallout 3 rootinstallation folder will allow the execution of three different scripts adding the mask, or either outfit from the screenshots in the .zip archive. To run the scripts type the following into the console:

bat givebsmask

bat giveoutfit1

bat giveoutfit2


== Legal Stuff ==

Usage of this mod in third party mods is allowed if proper credit is given to the author, and it does not conflict with Bethesda's rules for usage of their intellectual property.
