Endorsed. I could never understand why a little thing like that sanitizer could be so heavy. And the benefit is really not that big a deal.

For all you biggots that screams "It's made out of lead!". Lead doesn't absorb radiation. It only reflects it. Think bullet-proof glass.
Shoot it and the bullet stops, it doesn't 'disappear'.

In Bethesda's defense, that thing's probably lead-lined. But even then, SEVEN POUNDS? That's just ridiculous.

The E-cell consumption sounds like a great idea. They're plentiful enough that it shouldn't be a problem to keep it running. If you ran out of E-Cells, you'd get the message you get when the sanitizer is removed from your inventory.
I'll have to learn a few new tricks to pull that off, but it's a great idea for a future release.

If I were to add alternate weight .esp's what seems appropriate? Maybe 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0? I can't see it weighing more than that. Alternatively, it could be scaled in size to be larger that it would be more feasible for it to weigh 7.0.

This is great, I also thought it was strange something so small weighed so much.

But...on a counterpoint, it could weigh more than 1/2 lb. because it might "sanitize" bacteria and such by exposing the food to a radioactive element (think of a 1940's "Uranium Enriched Corn Flakes!" kind of deal instead of a UV Sanitizer), and that would explain why it doesn't affect the RAD rank on the food.

And that brings to mind an idea, have it very low weight, but consumes a E-Cell every 24 hours...or maybe a week.

I guess it could be lead, but it looks more like aluminum. Also, lead shields radiation rather than absorbing it, thus the lead apron they put on your bits and pieces when you get an X-ray that your future children don't have three arms and one eye. The sanitizer doesn't effect radiation levels of the foods, but "sanitizes" them and increases their restorative properties.

If onyone would like a different sanitizer weight, I can make alternate .esp's

    Ever thought of lead?

Lead is HEAVY and it soaks radiation, it is used in a wide variety of anti-radiation materials. Example. In nuclear power plants they use walls of lead to keep the radiation INSIDE.

My guess is, that that "little box" is made of lead. So 7.0 is a pretty realistic weight.

Still, I hate carrying too much weight, so great mod.
